This luxurious lodge is incomparable to other properties on the park, being twice the size and boasting an unrivalled, exclusive location with panoramic views across the Exe estuary towards Exmouth. It is spacious, light and contemporary with open-plan living/dining/kitchen, 2 double bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and utility/laundry/ cloakroom, fully furnished to an extremely high standard with double glazing, central heating and mood lighting throughout. The living/dining areas have comfortable sofas and chairs with matching occasional furniture, wall-mounted TV/DVD, Bluetooth built-in speaker, fireplace with electric stove, bookcase, built-in storage, dining table and seating. The large patio doors open onto a decking area to the front and side with a table and seating for outside dining and loungers on which to relax and enjoy the views. Please note that there are 3 steps up to the deck from ground level. The kitchen area is fully equipped with built-in double oven/grill/hob,extractor fan, microwave, dishwasher and fridge/freezer plus an island/ breakfast bar and large built-in pantry plus a Nespresso coffee maker. Master bedroom with king-size bed, bedside tables and lamps, dressing table, en-suite shower/toilet/basin and spacious.walk-in wardrobe. Wall-mounted TV/DVD. The lodge is located in Dawlish Warren in Devon, and is situated on the 2017 Tree Tops development of just 7 lodges in an elevated, secluded corner of Golden Sands holiday park. (Please note that it is privately owned and maintained and therefore reviews for the park are not applicable. Our reviews are on Homeaway website only). The lodge boasts panoramic views across the estuary towards Exmouth, while also capturing a countryside feeling due to being set among canopies of varied tree species, being host to an array of birds and other wildlife. Dawlish Warren itself boasts an extensive beach with golden sands, a nature reserve, a golf club and a good selection of traditional, family dining, shopping and entertainment venues, all within a ten minute walk. There are numerous sporting opportunities both on and off the water near here including cycling/cycle hire, sailing, golf and fishing to name but a few. There are also many places of interest to visit, including the amazing Powderham Castle which hosts various music/food and other events throughout the year. Another popular attraction is the famous railway which runs adjacent to the beach towards Dawlish. This area is also central for visiting all the key locations of the English Riviera and the stunning landscapes of both Exmoor and Dartmoor. There truly is something to suit everyone's preference.
