This was our second time staying in this lovely home and it was just as fantastic as before! The hostess stocked everything in the home that you could possibly want or need. We had an amazing stay here and definitely hope to come back. The house was so cozy with the fire place and deck. We loved how stocked the kitchen was with the essentials to make our meals. We also appreciated how the local guides, magazines, and recommendations were available to us to help guide arounnd Davis. Lastly, Liz warned us about upcoming cold weather before our trip and even provided fleece sheets to help us be more comfortable on the colder nights. Communication was great! My family and our three dogs had the very best stay during the July 4 holiday. The house has everything that we needed, and more. Our pets were very welcomed with the dog treats, water bowls, leashes, etc. The orange safety vests for the dogs made us relaxed and enjoyed the time outside. Lizz provided us with amazing amenities! This is the best place ever!

#### This place is a gem!
We had the best time! It’s obvious that the hosts take great care in the it property and pay attention to the details. The kitchen was extremely well stocked. There were tons of blankets and towels. The flannel sheets were the perfect touch. It was great to have upgraded appliances to work with. We travel a ton and this was one of the most well-stocked homes we have stayed in. Communication before and after was great! We loved the firepit and the beautiful night sky. The property was easy to find and the EV chargers were a lifesaver. We will absolutely stay again. I would 100% recommend this home.

#### Perfect Mountain Escape
It was everything we hoped for and more! Nestled in the heart of the mountains, it offered the perfect mix of rustic charm and modern comfort. The views were absolutely breathtaking—waking up to the snow covered mountain peaks and sitting coffee on the couch was lovely. The home was spotless and thoughtfully stocked with everything we needed. We loved relaxing by the fireplace in the evenings. It’s clear that the owners have put a lot of care into making this a true retreat.The location was ideal—close enough to outdoor adventures like hiking and skiing, but secluded enough to feel like we had the whole mountain to ourselves. We left feeling recharged and already planning our next visit.If you're looking for a peaceful getaway with all the comforts of home (and then some), this place is it. Highly recommend!

#### Amazing home, location, hosts, and view
Three generations of my family spent a week here. We travel a lot and this home is the absolute best rental we have had. The hosts have gone above and beyond providing anything you can think of while away from home. Little touches that make the stay feel like home, such as: hot cocoa & marshmallows, coffee, assortment of teas, electric kettle, coffee maker, spices, cooking oils, every kind of tool to easily prepare meals at the house, bath products, plenty of towels, washcloths, and extra blankets. Also, thermostats in each room, power strips with USBs in every room, plenty of local newspapers and magazines, comfortable beds and furniture, and great outdoor seating too! We loved using the fire pit and not only is there wood, but fire starter too. Honestly, I cannot say enough good about this property. The views are amazing. There is so much privacy while being about 10 minutes to shops, grocery store, restaurants, and cafes. And lastly, the landscaping, flowers, and bird feeders were incredible. Absolutely lovely! We are already setting up dates to return in the fall. Attached are pictures of sights local to the property.

#### Perfect house in Canaan
This house was perfect for our family. We had everything we needed and more. The communication was excellent. The host had everything available to use during our stay, even nice toilet paper and paper towels. The house was clean and dog friendly. There were dogs toys and towels to wipe their feet. There is a nice table to play games at and eat our meals with a beautiful view. This is a beautiful property and it’s minutes away from restaurants . Our family liked this house so much we will be back. The host even checked on us when the power flickered during a blizzard. We were fine but so nice to have hosts that care about your stay. The driveway was even plowed for us. Our stay was absolutely perfect. I highly recommend this house.

#### Home away from home
We really enjoyed staying at Lizz&Tom's house. Everything was available, felt like home and need nothing to buy. I was also impressed by cleanliness of the house, appliances and enjoyed sleeping in pure cotton bedding. The house was well heated, great bathrooms with all supplies. The host was available 24/7 for any questions. Both ski resorts are max 15 min away. We will definitely come back next season and would love to sit outside by the firepit. Thank you!

#### Highly recommend!
We had a lovely stay here with our older children and dog. Lizz and Tom really have made this place feel like a home away from home. The little added extra touches were unexpected and very thoughtful. We brought our dog and was so surprised to see extra leashes and doggie pick up bags. The kitchen we felt was well stocked with most all of the basic cooking pans and utensils you would need. Each bedroom was comfortable and decorated nicely. I really can't say enough about this place, highly recommend! The hosts were fantastic with checking in to make sure things were good when we arrive and very friendly. Thanks again!

#### Great Christmas vacation
House was just like described in the pictures. Awesome space and layout. Close to all the ski resorts. The hosts were awesome. Ice machine stopped working and they came by and looked at it and tried to fix it and they left a bag of ice. That was so kind. Also swept the stairs and driveway area cause it snowed pretty good. very thoughtful...Plenty of cooking stuff and other utensils. Over all I definitely would recommend you stay there. And the views!!!!! The views!!!!

#### Lovely stay in winter wonderland
This home was everything we were expecting, and more! It’s conveniently located within a few miles of the ski slopes and Davis, which was perfect for our family ski weekend. We received a foot of snow during our stay, making for a winter wonderland. Still, the driveway and roads were sufficiently plowed and drivable.The house was very well equipped with everything we could’ve needed, with easy to follow instructions and thoughtful notes.Our host, Lizz, was the best! Upon arrival, we had some confusion about how to get into the house, and she was immediately available to help us - even at 9pm. She was proactively communicative throughout our stay, providing tips and advice. She also graciously offered us a checkout as late as we needed on Sunday after the snowstorm to allow conditions to clear. She even mailed us (at her expense) a few things we left behind.Such a lovely weekend and an incredible host! We’ll definitely be back!

#### Ideal Location for Skiing
I’ve been coming out to Canaan Valley for many years with friends and family to ski in February. This house is one of the best places I’ve stayed. Close access to the resorts and downtown Davis. Amenities were fantastic. You can tell a lot of thought went into the renovation work and little details such as; providing Dr. Bonner’s Pure Castile soap in the bathrooms, well stocked kitchen with all the pots, pans and utensils you need if you plan to cook meals in. Great views from the dining room while enjoying meals and having the gas fireplace was a huge bonus on a snowy weekend. Communication was top notch, too. Lizz went out of her way to drop off matches and fire starter as we had romantic hopes to have a bonfire while the snow began falling. I can’t wait to come back again and highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a getaway in Canaan Valley.
