"Nice character property in the heart of the town. Breakfast was included; normally it’s a buffet but as there were only a small number of guests staying they offered a cooked breakfast choice."

"8 of us came up for our annual two day fishing tournament on Lake Bruin. The property was perfect for us. We could have definitely slept more than 8, but 4 trucks hooked to boats was about the max we could fit to park. We enjoyed the open floor plan kitchen and living area. It was spacious and comfortable. I would definitely stay here again and I plan to for our annual trip next year."

"Overall we enjoyed our stay. For some reason we were under the impression that we could swim or cool off in the water. Not the case. Not sure where the fault lies but it is/was not an option. The rest of the rental was as described."

"Peaceful and quiet easy to find. Great views of Mississippi.. Lovely pool and lots of outdoor spaces to relax. Good room slept well nice compact bathroom. Didnt meet host. Average breakfast at Monmouth.which is a lovely stately home. Dont have the french toast basically fried bread with what didnt look like cream cheese in between and dusted with powdered sugar no fruit as you would usually have - wasnt good!"
