"Perfect quick stay"

"We loved the town of Kranj and its aesthetic! It was straight out of a movie with narrow alleyways, a wedding in the center of town and wonderful locals. While we didn’t get the best night sleep (we suspect because of the wedding that happened to occur during our stay), the place was quite pleasant. We almost graded this stay down a smog but the host who’s name I can’t right now remember was wonderful, friendly, and opened up his kitchen an hour early the next morning when he heard we had an early flight. What a wonderful host and man. I believe his father owns the location and our host runs it and he made sure that we had plenty of food to eat on the run as we departed for the airport. And the breakfast food? Spectacular! Fresh cut ham, grilled bread with cheese…there were other “American” options like cereal but the breakfast sandwiches he made for us were delicious! Seriously, I recommend staying for those sandwiches if you can. There is a small stream nearby, perfect for soaking your feet and look out for the fairy house on the way down to the stream. Parking is free for two hours and then it costs but only until 6pm. Also, the host is a Lakers fan. Go Lakers!"

"From the moment we arrived at the Grand Hotel Toplice in Lake Bled, we were completely enchanted. Upon check-in, we were greeted with a welcome cocktail in the sitting room lobby — and let me tell you, sipping that drink while taking in the most breathtaking view I’ve ever seen felt like a dream. The service here is in a league of its own — truly the highest caliber I’ve experienced anywhere in the world. Every staff member went above and beyond to make our stay feel personal, warm, and effortless. Our room was absolutely perfect, and I have to give special mention to the water pressure (a small but very important detail for me!) — it was spot on. The location couldn’t be better — just steps from charming shops, delicious restaurants, and local events. But the crown jewel of our stay? The hotel’s private beach. With bar service, attentive personal butlers, and the best possible access to swim in Lake Bled, it was pure bliss. I have never recommended a hotel more highly in my life. Out of all of our global travels and experiences with Small Luxury Hotels, this one stands at the very top of my list. We will absolutely be returning — the Grand Hotel Toplice has officially become my favorite stay in the world."
