The hotel was decent overall, although it was not quite as pictured online. The biggest issue was the elevator situation. The elevators were always extremely crowded, and we often waited 20–30 minutes just to get an elevator, especially during busy times. I understand this may be a common situation in China, or perhaps this particular building simply does not have enough elevators for the number of guests and residents, but it was definitely frustrating. The cleaning service was also disappointing. The cleaning lady was extremely rude, although she did an okay job cleaning the room. The one area that truly deserves 5 stars is the front desk team. Their communication and customer service were excellent. They were friendly, responsive, and helpful whenever we needed assistance. Overall, the hotel was decent, but the elevator situation and housekeeping experience definitely took away from the stay. The front desk staff, however, were outstanding.

if you're looking to get the whole Chongqing experience, do not stay here! The location of this hotel is terrible and it's very far away from all tourist spots. Typically it take us 20 to 30 minutes to call a car from where we are back to the hotel at night. Another thing is I feel like the hotel staff is incredibly unprofessional. They do not wear uniforms and do not greet you at all. Also, the rooms are not soundproof. One night at 2am we literally got woken up by people next-door yelling because the rooms were not soundproof. I would say that the only good thing about the hotel is that it's clean and there's a self service laundry on the eighth floor. But other than that, the location is not great and you can get a hotel for the same price but near jiefangbei.

Hotel was modern, clean, nice size room and comfortable bed. Buffet breakfast was well worth the extra cost even thought there are plenty of food vendors just steps outside of the hotel. It is central and walkable to most tourist hotspots and a travel agency is onsite if needing 1 and multi days tour within and outside of the city limit.

I found every experience of hotel extremely good from cleanliness to friendly helpful staff. The hotel is situated in a excellent location, once you have your bearings you are in walking distance of most thing's. If I was to stay in chongqing again I would most definitely return to hotel. The city view was amazing and personally I found the price very reasonable.
