"The older gent at the reception is the BEST!"

"Not a particularly well equipped room. Booked a triple family room, a grand total of 4 pillows between 3 beds. 1 Coffee cup between the three of us. Air con motor was quite loud. The train line is very noisy, there is little / no insulation to this. If I stay again, I will ask for a room the other side as it woke us all up in the night"

"This hotel was perfect for our early morning flight from Stansted. Parking was very easy and only a short walk to the terminal for our early morning flight. The staff were friendly. A continental breakfast bag was provided for us as we were leaving the hotel at 3.30am. Our 3 rooms were booked last minute and were actually all next to each other which is never guaranteed. The bed was very comfortable. The hotel provided exactly what we needed. "

"The place was nice and staff were friendly. Clean beds, looks like the pictures. However, the hotel area is about 10-15 mins walk to the airport with no bus/shuttle bus. Includes air condition. No fridge/ microwave. No amenities in the hotel or around it. It’s good for short term stays. I would def recommend for early flights it’s a good option "

"Beautiful hotel in beautiful surroundings comfy bed and lovely shower. Perfect for a rest before an early morning flight. Yes, you do have plans go over but you get used to them after a while and we as a family enjoyed plan spotting."

"We stayed in the Botham room which was setup for a family of 4. Large king bed and sofa bed. The room was HUGE and bigger than we expected. Lovely spacious bathroom with tub and powerful rainfall shower. Everything was delightful about the room. Breakfast was a really fab full English breakfast, good coffee options and fruits/yogurts/ continental bakery pieces too. No complaints. We also ate in the bar restaurant on our arrival night and they had good options for both kids and adults. Beautiful grounds but looks a bit tired in places. As we were just staying one night it wasn’t a big deal, as it was a very quick stay. The only bummer was there was a wedding happening right outside our window. To be fair, it didn’t run super late, but as we were traveling with younger children who go to bed early, it was VERY loud both inside the entryway (our room was directly at the top of the stairs to entry way) and outside the tent played very loud music til around 9.30p maybe. Like I said, not super late for adults but worth keeping in mind for young kids. I would have appreciated a heads up that a wedding was happening, or perhaps the chance to move to a room further away. Overall, a great stay for reasonable price for a family of 4 - i would recommend and stay again "
