"Loved our stay. Staff were amazingly friendly, kind and helpful. Great service. Enjoyed staying at an historical but well maintained property in a beautiful setting. "
"Ran into a challenge as the reception desk closed that day at 2pm, and I didn’t arrive until the end of the day. No address was provided, so I had to drive through town looking for the place based on the photo in the listing. Then I realized the reception area was closed. The only way I could contact the owner was by telephone and I didn’t have a telephone with me, had to find a kind man at the gas station down the road to call the owner for me to give me access to the accommodations."
"Hotel very run down, maintenance non existent. Cobwebs hanging from ceiling above bed. Dust everywhere, unable to see out of windows so dirty. Crack in bathroom sink, bath stained and dirty. One bed was stained terrible down the side. On the up breakfast was lovely but tables very sticky so crockery sticking. Apparently this hotel was/is used for homeless people?"
"Lovely old hotel with lots of character, extremely peaceful & with beautiful views. Staff great, friendly & knowledgeable. Tasty & plentiful breakfast cooked to order. Nice evening meal on the Friday night.
Booked a double room but we were upgraded to a gorgeous suite without our knowledge which was a fantastic surprise! Lovely Easter break & would definitely stay again."
"A home from home.
Mandy is a beautiful soul who goes out of her way for you.
Amazing breakfast, lots of choice.
Dogs made welcome too.
Thank you Mandy, hope to visit again soon."
