The Complete Hotel
The Pierhouse is a hotel that demonstrates superb, uber-friendly customer service from the time you check in until the point of leaving. A primarily Sea Food restaurant is fabulous.

2 night relaxing stay
Thoroughly enjoyed our 2 night stay. Nice room (perhaps a little warm overnight but not complaining) , excellent staff and food. Would definitely go back and will recommend to others.

Great place to stay in a gorgeous location ove the Isle of Lismore. Staff are very professional, friendly and helpful. Food was delicious, especially if you enjoy seafood. Room was lovely with a very comfy bed.

Lovely place
Stayed for 5 days, superb food, staff are friendly, cheerful and happy to serve and extremely knowledgeable. Setting is tranquil and calm. Rooms are comfortable and do the job. Only down side that costs it a 5 star rating is the lack of functional wi-fi.

The pierhouse hotel offers service of the highest standard, nothing is too much trouble. The rooms are spotlessly clean and comfortable. The restaurant offers a fine dining menu with every dish superb. The view from the hotel is breathtaking and we would highly recommend a visit or stay here. The location is idyllic for those wanting time to relax and get away from it all.

Beautiful remote location if you want to get away from it. This is the third away in the last 2 miles are single lane road. We arrived late I should go to dinner right away. Beautiful dining room with circular radius windows and view of the port and water. Dinner was delicious. Service was excellent. Pillows were OK, bed was decent not too hard. Only negative about this hotel is there is no lift, You have to park a bit away and walk luggage through cravel and mud and upstairs. We are early risers and the door was locked to dining area and didn’t unlock until like 7:30. We wanted to get some coffee. Our coffee press was not cleaned and wanted fresh coffee. And couldn’t get it. We would definitely stay here again.

There aren't many hotels or restaurants in this area of Scotland (Port Appin) which kind of explains why this one is so popular. But the main reason people seem to be flocking to this amazing place is because the food is so outstanding and the service is exceptional. We tried to find a hotel closer to Fort William but the area is very popular this time of year (summer) which is why we ended up further south than we anticipated. The drive was beautiful and we were not disappointed when we arrived. The hotel is small but VERY cozy with beautiful views across the loch. The hotel booked a table at the restaurant after we booked our room and we were so glad they did. While we were having a drink in the bar before dinner, we saw lots of people trying to get a table for dinner and being turned away. We had a wonderful meal (mussels, lobster, langoustine then sticky toffee pudding and chocolate tart for dessert) before taking a walk down the pier before turning in. The bed was SO comfortable and we slept like parents away from their babies for a night. In the morning we were treated to another delicious meal with beautiful views over the loch. We were only there for one night but we would have happily stayed another to explore the surrounding islands and enjoy more food at such a tasty spot. I would HIGHLY recommend a stay and as many meals as you can stomach at the Pierhouse Hotel in Port Appin.

Delightful visit
Very accommodating and wonderful staff. We needed to leave early for sightseeing and since we missed breakfast they packed us a lunch. The room appointments were first rate. Will return if we have the chance.

Wonderful hotel at a terrific location. A nice lovely trail behind hotel. Ferry to a nearby island offers fun biking, hiking and exploring. Stalker Castle is picturesque as you approach Port Appin. The hotel has a nice lounge for guests with guidebooks and maps. We loved staying here
