Upon arrival to Great Wolf lodge the parking lot was large and I could tell there where a lot of guests staying, however it was easy to find a parking spot and check-in went quickly. I was able to add the dining package and the Paw Pass to my stay right then. My son was very excited about the wolf ears that all of the children received. Our room was ready when we checked in at 1 and that was a very pleasant surprise. We went up to our room and got ready to go to the pool. It wasn't too crowded when we went into the water park and that was great, around 3 it was really picking up so we decide to go and get ready for an early dinner (we planned on eating at the buffet, and the handout stated it was going to be open at 5). We waited for the buffet and around 4:55 we realized it was not going to open, this was incredibly disappointing since we had planned on having dinner there. We went back to the waterpark after dinner and the crowds where down again. The beds where very comfortable and though there was noise from the other guests it wasn't too loud. The breakfast buffet was great with lots of options and our son loved the characters. We went back to the water park after breakfast and it was another great day. My only complaint is that "due to a 40% occupancy" they did not have as many life guards on duty and another child went down the blue slide before my son was off and ended up kicking him in the back. I notified the life guards on duty and just moved to another area.
