I don't typically write negative reviews, but...
We stayed here because of the location, and the price was a lot more than several hotels in the area so we had assumed we'd get our money's worth... NOPE. First off, the pool is closed ALL SUMMER (Texas is already experiencing 100° weather, so this is ridiculous). Secondly, the automatic door opener for people with disabilities was not working, which was a huge pain for me since I am on crutches with a broken ankle. Staff didn't seem interested in helping me, either. The room was clean but the sink was stopped up, there were no dishes/utensils in the kitchen, and there was no hairdryer, there was only one chair and it was broken (one of the rollers was stuck into a broken piece under the chair and I almost fell when sitting). And, the folks at the front desk didn't seem generally interested in helping customers. The mattress was also uncomfortable and the towels were thin and rough. I've stayed in a lot of other companies' extended stay hotels with similar pricing and they have always been much nicer and more comfortable to stay in. This was a huge disappointment. I will never again stay at an Extended Stay America.
