Got the family out of car. Without exaggerating was approached by 7 of the probably 15 drunk homeless people laying along side of building. If that wasn’t enough to scare our kids. Once we got into the building and onto the elevator more drunks. Got off on our floor to more sitting in the hall way. The room isn’t as elegant as represented in photos. We had enough and left within 5 minutes if not less from the time we entered the room. Very unsafe. On the bright side we were offered 10% discount next time we stay. ##### Joseph K. If you're looking for a true urban experience, this VRBO has it all! Climbing stairs to the 3rd floor when the elevator is out or moves at sloth-speed? Check. Impromptu aromatherapy sessions every time you step outside—or into the elevator—with that distinct herbal essence wafting through the air? Check. Bonus street performance art by the local unhoused community just steps from the door? You bet.Inside, the apartment is a beautiful industrial dream. Very Pinterest-worthy! That said, privacy isn't really part of the aesthetic. The one bedroom is fitted with bunk beds (because what parent doesn’t love sleeping like a camp counselor?), and the king bed is nestled lovingly in the living room with two full-sized friends right beside it. It’s giving… sleepover.The dryer didn’t work, so we embraced the laundry line life and decorated the place with our wet clothes. It was very fashion-forward meets functional. The water hovered at the “almost warm” setting, which made for brisk and energizing showers! Now for the good stuff: the beds? Absolutely dreamy. We all slept like rocks—possibly from exhaustion, but we’ll credit the mattresses. And the pool table added some great family fun.All in all, the price was right, the place was stylish, and the memories? Unforgettable. ##### Audrey M.
