The hotel is set in an ancient dwelling built around a courtyard. While our room retained its original ancient nature, it was clean and comfortable. The bathroom, on the other hand, was modern and there was no lacking hot water. The staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel is located in a quiet side street in the middle of the ancient city just off of the major pedestrian street of Remin Road with its many eateries, shops and bars. For folks not familiar with the ancient city, the hotel may be a challenge to find. But not to worry, the hotel staff will work with you to find your destination. My wife and I highly recommend this place.

Overall pleasant experience, especially the tour driver Mr. Wang. However, we were not pleased that the electricity went out on the second night, leaving us in total dark and cold with no air conditioning, etc. The staff were not well trained to apologize in this situation but just remained silent. The room is also a bit small for a family room.

"For the big amount of money we have paid for the stay we are very disappointed. Your hotel is not in good order and no maintenance is done since it was built. The jacuzzi didn’t work, the kids club is dirty and many things are broken. Mini golf not working, air condition in the room not working. ..."
