The galaxy experiance.
Overall the staff and the room was ok. A big thing that was lacking was no roomservice . I had to walk very far to get some food to my room .

Clean and tidy business and recreational hotel. Nice bubble pool area with a small gym at the 8th floor. Standard continental breakfast, and lovely staff at the reception.

A great pick in Borlänge!
We were very pleased with the location of the hotel! Also, we picked this hotel because it had a hot tub and sauna, which was very much appreciated after a day of skiing!

A nice Borlänge Hotel worth staying at.
Nice hotel. I was recommended by a friend. An Irish Pub was located in an area of the hotel after walking down the long corridor, just outside the doors of the premises. I was a little taken back when the server asked me to tip her as I settled the check. I did not think it was customary to tip in this country. Or has that policy changed? With that said, I did love the breakfast spread the following morning in an area where I could look out and see the snow-covered field. It was a very nice layout in this breakfast area. Although, I have rated "comfort" a little lower in this review because none of the hotels I stayed throughout the week, including this one, had what I deem as an adequate heating system in their rooms. I realize that I was in Sweden and it's cold during this time of year, but business travelers like myself, rate comfort as their top priority. Bedtime was always the most challenging aspect of my entire holiday because it was still colder than I was comfortable in. Was there a space heater available?

This is a very comfortable and modern hotel. Our room and bathroom were quite spacious and the buffet breakfast is amazing. One thing I will say is the cleaners really need to do a more thorough job when cleaning the rooms. When we were leaving I checked under the bed to make sure we didn’t leave anything behind, and found a discarded McDonalds burger wrapper (not ours), a dirty towel (again not ours) and the lid off a shampoo bottle. They clearly only vacuum around the bed and never under it. A bit gross.

Nice Hotel with Pleasant Staff
This is a newer, clean, well maintained hotel with small but pleasant rooms and bathrooms. We were a family of 7, so we had 4 rooms at the hotel for 3 nights. All of us enjoyed our stay, but we were out visiting family a lot. I would not have wanted to spend a lot of time in the room, because it was so small, with only one chair set in a place that wouldn't have been very comfortable to sit in. The bathroom was also quite small, without much room to store bathroom items. There was a closet in the room for hanging clothes, but no shelves or drawers. Breakfast was fine, with hot and cold choices. The breakfast room was pleasant and uncrowded. The staff was pleasant and helpful. There was free parking available. In all, we found this hotel to be very nice for the price.

Good 'quality' budget hotel
Remembering that the rooms are available at good prices, I found the hotel to be good value. It is clean and reasonably well maintained and the staff were excellent, particularly on reception. The breakfast was good and there are good links to local attractions, river walks and mountain trails.

Hotel close to the heart of town
The hotel reception staff were very friendly and helpful. They gave us access to a luggage storage room so we could leave our bags at the hotel after we checked out while we went out to explore the town of Borlange. It's a great feature for those who are planning to ski for a day after they check out. The lobby had a cozy fire and comfy chairs, which were a nice and warm respite from the freezing temperatures outside that day! The free breakfast is a traditional Swedish breakfast, filled with meats, cheeses, eggs, fruits, and plenty of cold cereal options.

Lite allmänt slitet och skavigt i allmänna utrymmen och badrumen är inte helt i toppklass. Mögliga fogar mm. Om man bokar i tid och betalar runt 1100kr är det trots allt prisvärt. Frukostpersonal trevlig och bra buffe. Brödet håller inte så jätte hög standard (mest luft och smuligt) men går att leva med.

Har bott på detta hotell tidigare eftersom jag varit lojal mot Choice/Strawberry, men det hade blivit ännu sämre. Incheckningen tog väldigt lång tid. ”Bara en dator som fungerar.” Det kostar 75 kr att parkera på området. Poolen är fortfarande ur funktion. Ser ut att vara permanent. Bör tas bort från annonserna. Gammalt och slitet, men rent med normal komfort på rummet. Ovanligt liten kudde.

Börjar kännas slitet. Om man bokar tidigt och får ett rum för runt 1000-lappen eller lägre så är det prisvärt, men om det är hög beläggning och priset går upp runt 1400 SEK för ett par personer så känns det dyrt. Maten i restaurangen var tyvärr mycket sämre i år än för ett par år sedan. Synd att det var en rejäl besvikelse, för annars trevlig personal och helt OK miljö.
