"Andy and the staff were amazing. So helpful and informative on booking. We had a 4 hour trip to attend a wedding and they accommodated our request for an early check in without any hesitation.
Clean and modern room. Free tea and coffee, even a goody bag of sweets snacks and crisps which was an unexpected lovely gesture."
"A lovely hotel, that goes all-in with the railway theme. Although it is a pub-hotel, it has been recently refurbished, with all-electronic access, so nobody can get to the bedroom area unless they are staying there.
Half-price food in the pub on Mondays was a pleasant surprise, and the friendly - if slightly quirky - staff were a joy to interact with.
The room was comfortable, and the family room we stayed in had a separate bunk-bed area for the child, each bunk having its own light.
Parking-wise, you can choose from the station car park, a one-minute walk away, or the free on-street parking on the station one-way system (Only free between 6pm and 9am)
I would absolutely stay here again!"
