You can cater for your self/s or taken advantage of Burns Cottage bed and breakfast. There are extensive open views and gardens. Easy parking and it is quiet.

Ayr with it's beaches and race course is 22 miles to the west. The Scottish Dark Skies Observatory is about 10 miles to the west. Glasgow Airport is 49 miles to the north. Dumfries House is 9 miles to the north. The area is littered with golf courses, there are opportunities for fishing, there are forests and lochs and litres and litres of fresh air.

Very nice place to stay
Enjoyed place a lot. Ideal place as base for wondering around, quiet, away from main road. Owner is very friendly and caring, didn't experience any problems - but if would happen - he is just behind a wall. Description of place is very accurate - yes, it is small but for holiday stay finding perfect. Anything needed was in place. There is well prepared folder with all, detailed instructions and information you might need. Thank you Lewis.

Room as described
The room was as described. It matched the floor plan provided in the listing. A compact room with everything that was required of me at hand. Used as a base from which to explore the area it served its purpose perfectly. The property owner ensured that I could settle in quickly and easily and was available if anything was wrong. As this was not the case and especially given the current situation as of August 2020 I was able to have a pleasant stay.
