Robotic service - smiles

My experience has been underwhelming- while the service was good, you feel that the staff are just getting things done, and have no interest in your well being and not a single one had a ready smile on their faces. You would not expect any greetings made sincerely .
E.g.: at breakfast, the lady tells you to wait for a table (no greetings, no smile), then goes off to find you a table, sits you down, explain the hot & cold locations (stating facts, no smiles).
E.g.: same treatment st the spa - receptionist was efficient, masseur did her job, but no one truly listened to the pains/aches when it was stated in questionnaire. Felt like they just had to tick the box to say they have gone through the procedure. During massage, she asked if pressure was ok, and did nothing when I asked for a stronger massage (which I indicated on the form). Overall, I feel that morale was very low or lack of staff training.
Spoke to some residents and they felt the same. Efficient but very cold service !
