We stayed for 2 nights on a driving tour around the UK. I could not fault the Hazel Bank Hotel, Gary & Donna - your hosts cannot do enough for you. The restaurant is fabulous, great wine list, the rooms are gorgeous - loved every minute! thank you.
5 minutes drive to Ambleside Town Centre. Friendly and helpful staff. Starting point for a walk to the surrounding mountains with stunning views of tarns and fells which you should not miss. They provide clear direction and instruction for the walks so just ask. Nice mountain and river view from ...
Excellent accommodation, modern and very clean. Canal offers nice walks along foot path. Pub nearby. The only negative is the nearby motorway that unfortunately provides a back ground rumble all night long but you soon get accustomised to it.
Absolutely amazing! Friendly and welcoming, very comfortable, spotlessly clean, superb choice of food at breakfast, and again in the evening, with a daily-changing dinner menu. Our thanks to Richard and Co. for a wonderful experience, we shall certainly return.
The location was ideal as only a 10-15 minute walk into Bowness. Stayed in the cabin and everything was just perfect, couldn't fault it. Staff were great too, special thanks to Gareth for being so friendly and helpful.
Had a lovely stay here. Very tasteful decor and warm and friendly atmosphere. Right on the shore of the lake, incredible view.
