We loved our stay here over New Years Eve. Its a little walk to the centre, either Bowness or Windermere but worth it to have off road parking The room we had was a good size with a modern feel Breakfast was great and kept us full for our planned walks on the fells. All of the staff we met were welcoming and friendly.

Pleasing couple of nights
We spent two nights here and loved it. The convenience of the spacious car park was our first joy - there's nothing worse than trying to park in a busy area. Our room was lovely. It overlooked a bubbling stream and the two lounge chairs overlooking it invited us to sit and enjoy. The bathroom was modern and clean, the room comfortable. Breakfast the next morning was good too. Shout out to the lovely lady who was serving us in the breakfast room each morning. We didn't get your name but your smile lit up the room. Thanks for a very pleasant stay.

Very good.
Great location. Room was newly refurbished and very clean and comfortable. Cooked breakfast was very good. Only downside was that after a day walking in the wind and the rain on a cold December day, we checked in at 3pm and were told the heating come son 6pm.

Very underwhelming on arriving after driving past so many properties looking so festive and it looked closed. Check in was very easy and the twin room 7 was nice and very clean and it was lovely to have a balcony looking over the countryside. Nice products in the bathroom with heated towel rail but the room was very cold with the heating turned off. The beds were very comfy and quilts were great, pillows were too hard for me but that’s personal choice. Breakfast was beautiful, cooked fresh with quality ingredients and nothing was too much trouble. The guest house was located between Windermere and Bowness-on-Windermere 10 minutes walk to either but because of the torrential rain over the weekend we used taxis that were plentiful and cheap

Amazing
Beautiful stay for an early birthday treat. Place is fantastic, we had a little balcony that was lovely. Breakfast was gorgeous both days lots of choice. Hosts were absolutely fantastic really friendly. Half way inbetween both bowness and windermere. Take a visit to the tap rooms that was lovely. 20 mins from ambleside to then take on the loughrigg fell walk. Hoping to come back in 2024. :)
