Best place I've ever stayed!

Posted 21-Aug-2016
Pros: Classy, clean, specious rooms, they make even normal people feel like celebrities.
Cons: Nothing
Location: It is located in a nice part of Belfast and takes about 10-15 min to get to the city center and is close to the Folk and Transportation Museum.
Over my two week vacation I stayed at several hotels and the Culloden Estate & Spa could not be matched for quality and value. It is the best hotel I've ever stayed in before!

Beautiful classic hotel!

Pros: Staff, food , services
This is a gorgeous hotel with very nicely appointed quiet rooms. The greeting at reception is cordial and efficient and it is clear that the staff all see themselves as representing the hotel. The hotel highlights their chef and locally sourced food. The dining rooms are lovely and the food is excellent. The gardens and views from the hotel are lovely and perfectly maintained. The health club is of good quality and the spa has excellent services and staff. There are lots of activities and afternoon tea is very special. You will feel pampered. I stayed 4 nights and could have stayed 2 or 3 more.

A get away for my husbands birthday. Check in efficient. Room a good size, but loud humming noise during the night from fans etc outside window. Breakfast @£20 per person is on the expensive side compared to other hotels we have stayed in. Lift not working next morning.

Always a Pleasure

Posted 26-Nov-2015
Pros: See above.
Cons: Nothing that we can think of.
Location: Nice views over Belfast Lough and pleasant walks. The Ulster Folk and Transport Museum is nearby.
Over the years my wife and I have stayed at the Culloden many times. We are quite difficult to please but have never been disappointed with this hotel. Its communal facilities are first class, Indeed the dining room has been renovated earlier this year ( without really needing to be), as was the bar a couple of years ago.. The hotel has an air of understated luxury, matched by excellent service and food. All in all it really is a pleasure to be there.

Lovely pool and spa

We had a lovely stay and especially enjoyed the lovely spa area. Friendly staff and very comfortable. The onky downside for me was the very noisy guests singing and shouting in the next room which kept me awake in the night.

Lovely Hotel.

Everything was 5* except for service at breakfast. Understaffed I asked 3 times for a pot of coffee and my friend added twice before we got it. First pot of coffee was small and not warm.

Not great

Posted 01-Nov-2015 on Hotels
The spa was not a place to go to relax, more a health centre which offers spa treatments. We were disappointed with the room, the hotel is in a beautiful setting but we were looking out at a roof lined with fake grass. Food and drink was very expensive in the bar and Inn, we didnt eat in the restaurant. It was only OK.
