"Friendly staff from check in to bar. Even advised on local whisky! I had a single room which didn’t job however the shower was small and I arnt so getting in and out was challenging. Food was excellent and good breakfast. Worth a stay but large room and shower for me next time"

The restaurant was an absolute must to visit, brilliant food and very well priced for what you got on your plate, hardest thing was deciding what to choose from the menu. "Laichmoray Hotel Elgin. Great location, a 3 minute walk from train station, with trains direct to/from Inverness airport. Warm, helpful and friendly welcome from all hotel staff. Room was modern, comfortable and clean - perfect for my one night stay. We had dinner at the hotel on night of our arrival which was excellent - as was breakfast the following morning. We had a very enjoyable stay at the Laichmoray and can highly recommend this hotel for a stopover in Elgin. "
