I did not like that after I had already paid with expedia and it was confirmed when checking in that the reservation was already paid. When checking out, the front desk person was trying to charge us for our stay again and we wasted so much time explaining. We ended up emailing her the expedia receipt to prove we had paid already.

I continue to stay at this hotel whenever I am in Culiacán Sinaloa. The staff are friendly and professional. The area is close to the shopping center and there are things to do near by. I feel safe whenever I stay at this hotel.

Probably the best hotel in Culiacan where the options are very limited. Good restaurants -including a Starbucks- and shopping options are walking distance.

Had to ask several times regarding the VIP "gift"/perk. Front staff could not commit and had to ask manager who was never available and no-one would follow up. Eventually waited long enough and got the "free ride to the airport". Breakfast buffet is average, many staff but slow service.... Finally on last day at 7:00 am, an hotel employee was shot down (3 bullets) on his way to work on the sidewalk in front of the hotel.....

Whenever I visit my family, I stay at Lucerna as it's comfortable and in an easy location for me to visit everyone around Culiacan. I've been staying there for years and I can say the staff is helpful and well informed. They are also very flexible and understanding. We were supposed to check out on the day Culiacan went into shutdown due to the capture of one of Chapo's sons. Though short staffed (understandably so), the staff did everything in their power to help ease people's anxiety and provide services above and beyond. They kept the restaurant opened to feed us, and were super easy to work with to extend our stays until safer dates. I was already a loyal stayer at Lucerna, but after that experience they have elevated my loyalty. Also I highly recommend staying on the executive floors. It features happy hours, continental breakfast, and fully stocked mini fridges in the rooms.

Great place to stay. Centrally located and it’s supposed to be one of the best hotels if not the best in the city. Great stay, similar to Monte Carlo, Mirage or Treasure Island in Las Vegas. A little pricey but worth it.

Good experience for a couple days stay . Hotel always is remarkable clean in lobby area and hotel rooms . Room service is also fast and convenient. No Mini bar to keep drinks refrigerated .
