Wonderful, yes people say its a bit dated but if you're travelling with kids having a pool with its own room was brilliant and the lovely friendly stay made it an all round perfect stay. The rooms and the food were fantastic! Loved it!

This was a beautiful location and a very nice hotel. The beach was so lovely and relaxing. The staff here did all they could to care for us and make our stay comfortable. Is there anything more relaxing than a couple of glasses of wine (during the 2 for1 happy hour) while listening to the crashing waves? The food was very good. The service was beyond compare. It was hard to leave!

Stayed in this so called 5 stars Vietnam local branded resort last weekend. Honestly, I will say this is a 4 stars resort for a reasonable price.
We stayed in a Deluxe Room with Ocean View. The room was ok. Please be expected the noise from the crazy wave outside. This resort located next to a coast but NOT a beach. Not sure it's only for this season or it's always so windy and wavy. You may see the pictures that I took to know how bad it was.
The room we stayed came with a bathtub. But the curtain could only cover part of the tub. So when we took shower, lot of water splashed out to the ground. And there is no any drain hole on the toilet. It was a disaster after the shower that I needed to use few towels to bring the water back to the bathtub.
The staffs are friendly. The breakfast was outstanding.
There are 2 big swimming pools with many benches for suntan. Please be reminded that the so called "beach" is NOT a real beach. There are only sand on a pier like ground. Strong wave keeps hitting the pier. You will understand what do I mean from the pictures I took.
By the way, if you want to have a holiday with privacy. Do NOT waste your money on staying in any of their private villas. All of them are by the "beach" and people can see in or even walk into the villas.
Nice location for summer season.
Big breakfast, large restaurant.
The room and hallways had a strong smell of chemicals that was very bothersome.
We paid extra for a seaview with a double and were given a seaview with two singles. So we asked for the room we paid for but they could only give us a garden view and they wouldn't refund us.
At check in they asked for our passports but didn't return them immediately. Rushed us up to our room and when we came back to ask for them minutes later thinking we had just forgot them they had them in the back room expecting to hang on to them. We found this odd and not normal.
We stayed here in mid December (rainy season) and it was definitely a poor choice. The beach and pool looked nice but due to weather we weren't able to utilize the facilities. The town is fairly far and cost about 85 VND each direction. They only allow bike rentals until 6 PM which is ridiculous if you want to spend an evening town.
Poor check in. We arrived late as I had mentioned on booking and made specific request location for the room. Hotel said they never received booking request even though all prepaid via Expedia. Needed to wait for room and not in location I had requested. Staff made us feel like mistake was on our end and you sort it next day. They did sort it and apologize and moved us to another room but no upgrade or anything else for the inconvenience.

"Wonderful intimite guesthouse close to the beach"
We were wonderfully looked after in this lovely location. We were so impressed by all the little touches which made our stay very special. It was lovely to be surrounded by the ambience of this charming seaside village. The local people were helpful and gracious and made us feel very welcome.
From there we could easily cycle or taxi to town.
Cua Dai Beach—with its fine white sand, clear blue water, moderate slopes, and small waves—is ideal for swimming and sea sports. Over 3 kilometers long and 300 meters wide, Cua Dai offers hotels, restaurants, and newly built resorts, all along flower-lined roads. The waters off Cua Dai are full of sea life, so fishing is a popular tourist activity. Visitors can even hire small boats for fishing.
