Great location on Cua dai beach with excellent views of the nearby islands and north toward Da nang. Very close to the ancient city of Hoi An by taxi, bicycle or boat cruise which is a must see. Food at the hotel was excellent however you must travel to Hoi An for outside restaurants as nothing much selection outside the hotel.

Our family of four loved this resort. We stayed five days in a stand alone villa (not sure what they call them) which was literally metres from the massive pool and other facilities. We have stayed in much larger resorts before but loved this one. No crowds at breakfast buffet and plenty of couches available around the pool. We also used the gym every day which had a variety of equipment and probably my only criticism would be that the machines all needed maintenance.
So overall I think this resort is a gem, perfectly positioned on a beautiful coastline but within a quick courtesy bus trip of Hoi An
and I definitely recommend it.
We loved our 3 night stay in this hotel. With a private beach just over the road and 2 excellent swimming pools, this made for a relaxing and luxurious stay. We were at the HABR during a 3 week tour of Cambodia and Vietnam and we found this to be the perfect "time out" from city hopping and sight-seeing. (Though equally, the HABR provides a shuttle bus service which regularly makes the 10 minute trip down to Hoi An town - itself a fantastic place). This was the perfect downtime and it was a wrench to leave, we could easily have spent a week or two here. The rooms were excellent and the staff friendly, helpful and enthusiastic.
The resort is nice, the salt water swimming pool was warm and appreciated by the kids. The staff are friendly and helpful. The Spa is ok. The restaurant food/drinks could be better and cheaper. There's literally no one eating there for lunches and dinners. The food across the street tastes better and is at least 3 times cheaper. Snorkeling is mediocre and >1 hour away on slow boats (not worth it). Prepaid breakfast stops at 9:30 and cannot be delivered to your room. That's obviously useless for those sleeping in (vacation mode). There is NO beachfront, the beach is 150m away, and almost nobody goes there. The sea water visibility is "none" from the nearby river, not sure how dirty it is. Tried to do some jetski, but a few waves stopped operations. Nevertheless, we had a great time shopping and eating in Hoi An.

The pools are really nice, with plenty of seating - though you can't always find the pool towels and we weren't sure if they were washed regularly. The beach is beautiful and there is also seating on the beach with shades.
The restaurant food was good - the breakfast was quite good and plentiful.
The rooms were dirty and dilapidated. The extra bed was a thinly covered board. The light and ceiling fan fittings were thick with dust. We even complained but nothing happened. The shower and bathroom were pretty grotty - not of a hotel standard - let alone a 4* hotel. The bedding and towels didn't get changed.
The staff were nice and friendly but not very effective.
The free shuttle bus to Hoi An was great.
Cua Dai Beach—with its fine white sand, clear blue water, moderate slopes, and small waves—is ideal for swimming and sea sports. Over 3 kilometers long and 300 meters wide, Cua Dai offers hotels, restaurants, and newly built resorts, all along flower-lined roads. The waters off Cua Dai are full of sea life, so fishing is a popular tourist activity. Visitors can even hire small boats for fishing.
