Very easy to find. In a great, vibrant area right on the quayside and beside the bridges. Very safe hotel (key card entry only into rooms access, lift and between hotel wings). No tea-coffee making facilities inside the room but free use of a tea/coffee/hot chocolate machine in main reception. Hairdryer in the room didn’t work but I didn’t need it. Also, TV didn’t have signal (again i didn’t need it). Cheapest room for my night’s stay (solo female) was a triple (£36) and i actually had a great view of one of the bridges too. Bathroom was spotless and the shower was supreme! Nice and hot and great power. One star less for no restaurant but there is tonnes nearby (i used the wetherspoons less than 5 mins away as was on a budget)

Close by the water. Nice clean room. Make sure you don’t arrive before check in time - had to sit in reception for 10 minutes to wait for 3pm.

Hotel location good, staff very polite, bathroom was new so was the only positive thing about room, the room was cold , windows looked like they had never been cleaned, bare cables showing on a joint box on wall, ac heating unit would not warm room.

Not a good journey
Not a comfortable journey here. The facilities in the room are poor. No desk or a chair. I have to mention the air conditioner system especially. It performed really terrible, dirty and hard to set up. I was very cold during the whole night. Also wind came in through the window even though I closed all the windows.

The hotel was in a very good position to explore the quays ,Tyne bridge, and lots of bars, restaurants etc. staff were very friendly,check in was easy. Room was big. Big TV, clean and comfortable bed, good shower. Excellent stay?

Good location and price. Rude Manager.
Initially I was going to give a 1* review but Paul did try to rectify it by giving us a free late check out. We had various issues though. The main was Paul the assistant manager was very rude and patronising. When I asked what the other guest section meant he responded 'what do you think it means' along with other times being generally huffy. When we got to the room after a wait, the key card didn't work. The room overall was a good price and central, however Paul being rude turned what would of been a good stay into a sour experience overall.

Hotel was perfect for what we needed for a night out. Although. The rooms are small and there is no storage. There is a few hangers but they are not the best.

Hi Chad, I'm disappointed to see you only left us a 1/5 score, I was under the impression after chatting to you last night on various occasions that you and your party were enjoying your stay. As we spoke last night I can confirm that your booking was for 2x quad rooms x2 people in each room, these rooms were what was booked and provided. however, when you arrived you had an additional 2 guests with you. 1 room layout was able to provide the additional occupancy at no extra cost, however, because we had not been notified of the additional guest for the room in question we were unable to allocate the bedroom style more appropriate to your party, as you will recall I tried every way possible to accommodate the guys for a more comfortable stay, but due to us being fully booked, we didn't have any choices to reallocate. and Unfortunately, There was nothing I could do. I apologized to you throughout the check-in procedure and further throughout the evening when I enquired how your party was managing, you shook my hand and said thanks for the help, so again I'm a bit disappointed, you said you received no apology. So after looking further into this for you and 5 calls to Expedia, no compensation can be offered this time around. we hope to see you again, please call us beforehand and we can double-check and amend any booking errors to avoid further disappointmentKindest Regards.

There was no cups or kettle to make a drink sadly. Also only one coat hanger in the room so I had to dump stuff on the floor. On returning on my 2nd day my key wouldn't work, I went to reception where I stood and was ignored by the receptionist who was playing on her phone and made no acknowledgement of me

I know this place is a budget hotel, however there are certain standards that should be expected. 35 mins to check in. Given a room that hadn’t been cleaned. A twin room with both beds a mess, dirty towels thrown on the floor, rubbish left in the room. Was then given another room on 4th floor. Fire alarm went off twice at 05:00 to be told that there is a faulty fire alarm. Keycards for room & accessing the hotel didn’t work & had to be continually reset. Overall, a budget hotel that is in a bit of a mess!!

Good Evening Andrew, Thanks for your review we appreciate all feedback and will pass it to all departments, Here at the Hotel we check in from 15:00 onwards and as the company has staff as lone workers, depending on the size of the queue 35 min may be needed. we apologise for the dirty rooms, we use an outsourced hk team and we were not made aware of the situation until you notified us, we don't believe this to be of our usual standard, the fire alarm went off due to water from heavy rains, beyond our control however the team worked as best they could in the circumstances as so to try and at best avoid as much disturbance during your stay,

Very basic place but room was clean. However there was a lingering smell of cigarette smoke throughout the public areas, lifts, stairs etc. and drinks machine served very average coffee.

I would like to add something to my positive stars ratings: I was very pleased by the warm welcoming and the friendliness at Reception, and I would like to make a special mention to Hia, thank you very much for making my staying special!! Also, thanks to the Manager who, after a miscommunication about check-out, has been very gracious apologizing and showing that she genuinely cares about Hotel Customers. Great location, comfy bed and nice shower box too.

BARE bones room. Absolutely no place to set your suitcases except the floor. There was space available for 2 luggage stands &/or a table or desk. No glasses or cups. No closet. 2 hooks on the wall for clothes. Had the type of hanger where the ring stays attached to the rod, or in this case, hook. 4 rings, but only ONE hanger. Half a roll of toilet paper for a 2 night stay. They did provide more toilet paper when we asked at the desk. Staff was pleasant and accomodating. Air conditioning unit was appreciated. Not recommended.
