Convenient location for visiting relatives and sights in the area and close to the High St., Castle and beaches. Appears to be open all year, with good rates in the Winter. Good bar food with a real local ale and acceptable rose wine available. Nice to have the option of a Continental or Full Breakfast. It is as it looks, a nice old-world retreat. The bed in room 34 is getting a little tired and sound-proofing leaves a little to be desired for light sleepers, but great for all that.
