"Staff were lovely. Hotel room was a little shabby, and there was a dead spider on the wall and dust in places. The door needed pulling tight to close. Both days after housekeeping had been in, the door was left open. The first occasion this happened, we thought our room key wasn’t working properly because the door flashed red but then opened. We thought that was strange, but realised it was because the door hadn’t been shut. We did raise this with the staff after the first occasion but they said the battery must be going on the door. But then the second time, we didn’t even try the key as we noticed the door was ajar. We also got stuck in the lift for a few minutes - we are aware they are trying to fix these issues. The staff were lovely and did give us vouchers for complimentary drinks. However we just want them to be aware and look at the door of 309 because we would hate to think anyone enters the room when they shouldn’t. Room was also very very hot in September. And if you open the window to cool down, the grease smells from the kitchen creep in. Ask for a fan and ice!"

"Lovely hotel in a great location. Room was very comfortable. The hotels downfall is the configuration of the bathrooms. Absolutely no where to place toiletries, whether staying for 1 night or longer."

"Enjoyed the short visit the room was clean..However the lighting in the bath-room was very dim. Terrible lighting for makeup same was true for all mirrors. Front desk personal were knowledgeable and helpful. The restaurant was was enjoyable with great staff. Thanks"
