Straight forward and swift booking Ease of access, taxi button convenient Staff are nice, very helpful I didn't like the idea of a wet room, proper shower cubicle preferred Open the tap on the face basin and water wets whole surface around. So you cant place anything on the surface and open the tap, it will get wet.

I’ve stayed at this hotel before but this weekend was the best stay yet. I was staying for a night away with my boyfriend and we had a few drinks at the hotel bar and all staff were very accommodating. One in particular though was the nights team leader, VAISAKH. Lovely guy who couldn’t help us out enough. We offered him a drink and tip which both he refused only asking for a good review. I rarely do reviews but I feel he really deserved/earned this

A pleasent stay.
Very friendly staff greeted us upon arrival. It had been a long drive so this was very welcome. The staff continued to be pleasent and helpful for the duration of our stay. We were travelling with our dog and were delighted when he was presented with a little doggy goodie bag. Such a sweet touch. The room was clean and comfortable. Bonus points for having a freestanding shower with a grab rail. I am a little wobbly on my feet, so dislike having to climb over a bath. The towels were lovely and soft. We ate in the restaurant one evening. My first, and then second choice, was not available. The food was cooked well and presented nicely. I did feel it was a tad over priced. The breakfast was ok.

Stayed at a number of holiday inns, but unfortunately was let down by the fixtures and fittings of the room, broken chair arm, light shade broken falling apart, socket covers hanging off and cobwebs. Very disappointed

The hotel is well situated within a large mixed retail park and near the M1 motorway. It was welcoming and the facilities excellent including the breakfast. We were well looked after by the staff.

Breakfast a let down
We stayed here after watching a football match, we arrived fairly late, easy straight forward check in. Room was a decent size for what we needed, good toiletries and clean. Unfortunately the breakfast was a let down, we have stayed previously and had no issues but this time they just couldn’t cope with restocking the breakfast items, at one point there was no hot food, no bread, no croissants, no fruit juice, no milk so literally was unable to have anything to eat, after approx 20 mins wait and speaking to front desk some bacon/sausages arrived, this was unfortunate as never had issues previously, I do understand that must be difficult to re stock during busy times, definitely some unhappy people around waiting for breakfast.

Holiday Inn - Northampton
Fantastic few days an away for the weekend with a friend, who had mobility issues. The hotel was very accommodating in regards to an easily accessible room, which was much appreciated! Lovely room, considering we was in the first room of the corridor next to reception, we heard no noise whatsoever. Breakfast was great, cooked bacon, sausages, scrambled egg & beans. Continental breakfast too, a very good selection. Would highly recommend this hotel & no hesitation in using it again as a base for going to the surrounding areas. Thanks to all the Team 👏👏

Spent a total of three nights here - the staff were very friendly, professional and polite - nothing was too much trouble for them. I live in the USA and always use this hotel when I’m visiting family and friends in Northampton - the service, cleanliness and great price were second to none. I highly recommend this Holiday Inn Express.

Nice enough, but a few niggles…
Friendly and helpful staff. The room was clean, however there were only plug sockets or USB ports beside one of the beds meaning I couldn’t charge my phone overnight. The bathroom was very small, but functional. Breakfast was disappointing - many items were burned or stale. Coffee was nice though!

Well Run Hotel with 5 Star Service
Extermely well run hotel - from the initial greeting by Lucy until check-out. All staff say hello. Great, large comfortable rooms and powerful shower. Excellent.
