Beautiful log cabin 7 miles from Black Canyon National Park

"This cabin was an absolute delight. It was comfortable, well appointed, clean as a whistle and everything we had hoped it would be...and more. We did not expect the herd of deer grazing right in the yard. We had guests, so we gave them the main bedroom and slept in the loft, which was comfy and spacious. Also, the kitchen had very new appliances and all the pots/plates/gadgets you will need. But the VERY BEST thing about this cabin is the location. There is literally no place you could stay that would be this close to the Black Canyon entrance station...literally 7 easy miles. I also have to mention how responsive Alli was. We told her we lacked a flyswatter and had a pesty one. Literally 5 minutes later she was at our door with one, and we were able to meet her and Watson the dog. In short, we could not have been happier with our stay. If you are visiting the Black Canyon, I don't think you'll find a better place."

"Beautiful location, very peaceful and extremely quiet. Everything we needed was there. The light was on when we arrived, we felt welcomed. They had essential oils and two diffusers. That was a nice touch. There was a fire pit/grill to use in the fire pit area, and they even had wood. We loved the cows and saw deer grazing. We hiked NeedleRock, of which there is a view of from the house. We will be staying here again! Thank you for a few wonderful days!"

"We really enjoyed our stay in southern Colorado at this rental property. One morning, we watched hummingbirds just outside the window, as we sat for breakfast! It was very charming, and a great value for the price. :)"

"Every now and then you find a rental at the intersection of charming and perfect. This was one of those situations. I've travelled a lot and this was a unique property. Plenty of useful cookware and supplies, a well-appointed bathroom, and delightful bonus movie room. This was also the first time that I've ever seen chilled beer mugs in a freezer ready to go. I enjoyed perusing the DVD and book collection, but you can also log in to a streaming service. All my needs were met and the hosts were highly responsive to inquiries. It would be an ideal romantic stay for couples visiting the area. I would note that the bed was a queen size? Not sure there was space for a king size bed though. That would be my only comment."

"This camper was super clean and cute. Just the right touches everywhere to make it feel comfortable and special, even though it’s a deliberately simple place. We have stayed at rentals that cost thousands and they have not been as organized, WELL STOCKED, and quality experience as this. We truly felt like welcome guests. Having coffee by the fire as the sun rose over the mountain and field this morning was the perfect start to our day in the national park."

"We had a wonderful stay! The property was incredibly peaceful. We enjoyed watching the hummingbirds while enjoying our morning coffee. The beds were very comfortable, and the location was convenient and close to town. It was a relaxing and comfortable experience, and we would love to return."
