This charming lakeside getaway on Smith Lake has fun for all seasons! This house is family-friendly with spaces for all ages. Suntime Cottage consists of two levels with screened-in porches and multiple decks. The main level has a living room and full kitchen with all of the kitchen equipment and tools you may need. On the top deck outside of the kitchen, you will have access to a Blackstone Grill and a large outdoor dining space. Two bedrooms and a full bathroom are also located on this floor, including rooms with queen and king sized beds. Both have memory foam mattresses. The screened-in porch on the main level contains another dining area and a porch bed swing with a twin memory foam mattress. The main level is on the same level as parking and easily accessible. The bottom level is perfect for younger family members. The downstairs living room is equipped with a big screen TV, DVD player, cozy seating, a reading nook, toys, blocks, Legos, and tons of classic movies from the 1980s and 1990s. The laundry room, another full bathroom, and third bedroom with two full beds are also on this level. The downstairs screened-in porch has direct access to the remaining decks and hot tub. Unlike many properties on Smith Lake, Suntime Cottage has easy access to its dock, requiring renters to walk only a few steps to the Lake. We generally have full lake water access from March to August, but Suntime never loses complete access to the water. If you have any questions about this, please message the owner. FALL/WINTER: The fall and winter are some of the best times on the lake. Although the water level recedes, the lake is still accessible from the dock and provides ample opportunity for exploration (especially for children). You can walk along the lake edge, explore the surrounding lake bed, fish, paddle board, or even swim a little. These days are often best when finished with s'mores at the fire pit and a dip in the hot tub. ARROWHEAD PARK: Arrowhead Park is across the street, facing Suntime. The house reminded me of my Mamaw's house, very warm and inviting, it felt like home away from home. The Hot tub was a nice touch after a long day, very relaxing. The location was not to far from restaurants or the grocery store. The host were also very helpful and responsive with any questions I had. There was plenty for the kids to do as well, although it was too cold this trip, they offer kayaks and paddle boards, a boat during summer time. There was also the hot tub of course, a big TV for family movie night, and also a ping pong table too. They also have a twin size memory foam day bed swing on the porch, which is perfect for those mid day naps, or at the end of the day where you only hear the crickets in the distance. Very peaceful and quiet, it was more than relaxing, it was overall a wonderful stay, and we would love to come back next year!!! ##### Kayla W. How fortunate we were to find Suntime Cottage! It was December, but that didn't matter, Suntime is a charming and cozy cottage with super comfortable beds and a great little kitchen! I like to cook and am often disappointed by kitchens when we travel, but not this one--it has everything you need.My granddaughter and I really enjoyed the "sleeping swing" on the screened-in porch where we snuggled under a blanket and had a great chat. Downstairs, we watched movies on the big TV. Suntime has games for families: We had several rounds of Yahtzee and Uno after the wedding. Staying up until we were all yawning too much to play more.Maurine and Zach are wonderful hosts! So prompt to respond when we had questions, and kind and understanding when I accidentally set off the smoke alarm.
