Had a 2 night stay and room was big warm and bed comfy. I stayed with my bf. I know Coventry well. Ibis is about 8 mins walk to the city. Shops good and coffee shops. Car park charges reasonable. Staff friendly. Did ask for more milk and coffee for room. Never had breakfast. Shame no mini fridge would have made it almost perfect. We had room 106 some people drunk outside woke up at 1.20am phoned reception to be told they had already been asked to be quiet he must’ve told them as it went quiet 7 of them sat outside shouting etc.

The hotel is close to the station. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was adequate, but no storage space for clothes other than a hanging rail. Likewise, no shelf in the bath room to put the basics. We had to use our suitcase as storage, for the 3 night stay. Light sleepers, be aware of traffic noise.

Well I am glad I only had to stay for one night. This was a poor hotel. The room was freezing and only got worse at night. Had to put the electric heater on and keep it on as the heating didn't work. There was stains on the bed sheets and curtains which were very noticable. Also the room was very small with not much storage space. The bathroom was poorly designed supposed to be a wet room well it was like being in a portaloo. The shower flooded after having it on for a minute and didn't drain well which meant when we went to the toilet we were walking in cold water. The water also leaked under the door and near to the bed. The hall way smelt like someone had been chain-smoking a joint all night. The smell of weed was absolutely disgusting. I expect better.

The bed head was too close to the window so i felt a draft on my head. The chair in the disabled wet room screws where rusty i was afraid it would give way. The staff were friendly .

Nice place
Hotel is nice and in a good location. Disappointed with the price, it seemed expensive for an IBIS £98 for a night B&B and then charged £6 to park the car. Bad for a Saturday night

Staff were friendly, room clean and comfortable, breakfast good. What I didn't like was that if you arrive early, they want to charge you to check in early even if the room is ready and no further work needs to be done. I have worked in the travel industry for 20 years and have never seen this before, it feels like a desperate money-grabbing policy with little thought to quality of service or comfort to the guest.

Good standard apart from smelly bathroom
Better stay this week as last week the bar had no soft drinks. Which hotel manages to run out of soft drinks. Standard is what you would expect of an Ibis. Only issue I had was the bathroom was really smelly. I reckon they are having problems with their drains. My colleague had to move rooms during the night due to the stench in his room 😂

Have used this hotel a number of times as an easy walk from rail station and city centre …… all good apart from one point this time around …. Asked to check in early as train hassles en route (as usual!!) but was asked for a £10 early check in fee only one hour before 15:00 …. I declined but they did let me leave bags … think as there was my empty room sat there a few steps away that was a bit tight!!! Discretion Mr Manager ????? Thanks otherwise

Stay away from this hotel
Very upsetting when you book hotels for you and your colleagues and 2 of the 3 rooms allocated are unacceptable. One room had no heating and the other had a really bad sewage problem (that the hotel were aware of) Hotel full so no other rooms offered. Really poor service

It does the job
I booked this hotel last minute due to a family emergency. The hotel felt safe to stay in and offered breakfast at an extra cost. The only thing that really let it down is that they charge you £6 on arrival to use their car park. I feel this should be included in the price as you are using their facilities and this isn’t stated on initial booking.

The staff were super friendly and helpful, can't fault the service. The bar, and eating area were was nice and welcoming. Only faults was the condition of the bathroom. I don't know why but I was in a room that catered for disabilities, the shower & basin drain had blockage issues so the bathroom flooded and spilled onto the bedroom carpet. The basin tap was plumbed so that the cold, came out hot, vice versa and the Aircon dripped throughout the night do there was a constant wet patch. All issues reported so hopefully they can resolve. Other than that, the bed was really comfortable and as i said, the staff were excellent. I did think that the rate was possibly £20 higher than it deserved. £91, including £6 for 24 hour parking.
