Good stay on the Camino Portuguese
This hotel was a pretty good deal mainly due to the awesome breakfast in the morning. The staff was friendly and helpful and said we could make a sandwich and take some fruit for lunch for our Camino walk. The room was comfortable. We enjoyed our stay.

The staff is very helpful and responsive. The hotel is located very close to shops and restaurants. The big problem was the room fragrance!! They might be using cleaning products or room sprays.. even the bed sheets felt "soaked" in parfum. We had to keep the window open the whole night. I don't recommend this hotel to anybody who has allergies or astma. During the night my friend had to use a lot her astma inhaler because she couldn't breath!

Pretty cozy hotel. Excellent staff. Just watch out for the parking garage . No one told us we had to pay and it’s space limited. Surrounded areas are very beautIful and friendly

The hotel was clean and well located. The staff was very friendly. I would just suggest adding some hooks on the wall or back of doors as there is nowhere at all to hang anything in the wc or room, besides the closet.

Since Portugal relaxed its restrictions I was very keen to support this little hotel. I have been here quite a few times since the late 90s and I love staying here. The hotel has been revamped considerably since my first visit, it's spotlessly clean, the furnishing is simple but contemporary and the breakfast excellent bearing in mind the money you have paid for the room. The staff took their COVID cleaning duties very seriously and I felt very safe there. The staff are brilliant and very welcoming and caring. This hotel represents excellent value for money, it's in a central location and is a real gem.

Not to be overlooked!
This hotel knows how to be a small, intimate, boutique hotel! The room was clean, comfortable and quiet, though the bed was a bit hard. The staff are exceptionally engaging, efficient and friendly. Oh! And this hotel is well located to visit the best of Viana!

Very friendly receptionist at check in who wanted us to know about Viana. The lobby of the hotel was pleasant. There was a place to Sit while waiting and sweets to nibble. Room was small but adequate. The bathroom was very nice. we were right on the Camino so it was convenient for us. The receptionists both night and morning were so helpful. This was a bank holiday so they were great in finding places to eat at night.

Overall — nice, and in a good location. We were on the front and had a nice balcony. Cleanliness — there were MANY long dark hairs on the floor. (We did not mention this to the management, but probably should have.) Breakfast — OK, but no better than just OK.

Great place to stay while walking the P. Camino
A great place from which to continue our Portuguese Camino. Very comfortable and easy to find. Everyone was kind, helpful and welcoming! Grocery stores with a amazing variety of fresh fruits pubs are close to the hotel.

Great location. Lovely, helpful staff. Rooms on the small side and a bit of outside noise but bonus of outside space with our room..a couple of chairs and a sun umbrella was nice. Good value for money. Best location in town a short walk from train station and old town. Supermarket just round the corner. Good recommendations for eating out.

Central location in pleasant town and area of Via.
Good welcome and information given here - recommendations for restaurants, sites of interest etc. Parking is very limited and local car parks are expensive but otherwise everything was very good value. We found Portugal very friendly and interesting. The temperature was high for us - over 30C- in late August- even in Northern part of country. They were preparing for a major festival 17-20 August. Good restaurants and local boutique café much enjoyed.

Beautiful city, exceptional hotel
The hotel deserves more than five stars in my book. It is a great hotel in a great location. The hotel as exceptionally clean and the staff were very friendly and professional. Customer service at the front desk was above and beyond any similar properties I have stayed at. I will recommend the hotel to my friends and fellow travelers. Eduardo deserves a special shout out for his extra efforts helping me with local and regional touring information. At the drop of a hat he was on his computer or making calls for me. I truly appreciated his efforts on my behalf.

A Great Stay
We stayed for four nights at this hotel, it is central, there was easy parking nearby (€3.99 per 24hrs). Helpful management, rooms spotless, quiet and appeared to have been renovated recently. Breakfast was very adequate. All five of our party which included four Camino walkers would recommend this hotel.

a jewel of a budget hotel
central location. excellent staff. the breakfast was filling. lots of offers by the staff to eat more. buns ham chease cerials coffee cakes. orange juice fruits. the rooms are all based on the same style with slight differings. the mood lighting was nice along with the balcony view up the mountain to the church. parking is 5 euros a day. in a narrow car park. the room was very quiet. the tv was a little small but who goes on holiday to watch TV all day? The staff make this hotel a must try.

Our Best hotel stay in Portugal
Great location and a very warm welcome from Edwardo set the positive vibes for our holiday . We just love the clean, modern lines of the deco and comfortable bed and bathroom. The hotel was near to every attraction. Edward took our bags n showed us to our room after giving us a map n showing in details where the attractions are. Breakfast was served by a very sweet and charming girl who anticipated your every need. We stored our luggage there after check -out as our train was in the afternoon. Will definitely stay here again n recommend highly to all.

Great Camino Hotel
Right on the Camino, huge bathtub to soak in after a good days walk. Staff was great. Watch out for the breakfast coffee though, it's rocket fuel!

Excellent small hotel in centre of town
There is little on street parking in town. The Hotel has an internal parking garage, but is rather "Tight" access for medium / large cars. There is an underground garage approx 200m before hotel on the same one way street, this has a special rate of €4.99 for 24 hrs, if paid for at the Guard office within 30 min of entering. Hotel and staff are excellent in all ways with 2 minor niggles: the bathroom had a glass wall into the room and there was very restricted access to one side of the bed. Vianna is a very pleasant town with many small shops plus a magnificent viewpoint from the hill overlooking the town. No restaurant but we were given recommendations,by the staff, for magnificent, and cheap, Fish restaurants about 15 mins walk along the waterfront to the fishing port. Breakfast was plentiful and varied. There are many small,easily accessible, beautiful beaches at villages off the coast road Northwards up to Spain.

This was a faultless stay. The front desk staff went out of their way to give useful information about the town and things to do in the limited time I had. It's in an ideal position to go up to the church on the hill as well as for walking around the old town or down to the waterfront. Very modern stylish rooms (in an understated way) Very good range of food for the breakfast too!

The staff were very friendly and helpful and an excellent free breakfast is provided. The only problem was containing water flow from the shower and the hotel management are aware of the problem and intending to fix it.

Nice boutique hotel
It is a boutique hotel , good concept, room is not big, enough for a queen bed. Bathroom is not so private, glass wall. Parking you must call them to reserve, few spots and close parking lot is expensive, over 15 euros for half day, or try to find spot to public parking 10 min walking.

New hotel. Very modern.
Nice furniture and new, similar to an upscale Ibis. A few blocks from the train station on the main street, so easy to get to and to find. Complete quiet and down the street from the main plaza. Across the street from a modern and good cafe which the locals frequent. They have a small library about the area. A restaurant around the corner.

A small room in a small hotel. In the town area and close to the funicular to take you up the hill to the church, views and a quiet space. Seemed to be recently renovated. For 2 star hotel it was fine. Breakfast was half buffet, half served. Good to adequate. Staff wee helpful.

Perfect location, super friendly staff (specially Eduardo and Monica), breakfast above expectations for a 2-star hotel. I am currently at a 4-star hotel in Porto and the room is almost as small. Everything seems to be brand new because it is spotless clean.

Fantastic stay
I found this hotel fantastic very clean lovely bright rooms. The staff at reception we're lovely very helpful and always with a smile. Breakfast was amazing the lady there looks very well after you breakfast was what I enjoyed the most the service and the food. The location of the hotel is very hood as is easy to find very close to train station and buses and taxi along with lots of shopping stores and places to see and enjoy your time there. Definitely recommend brilliant place will be going there again.

Very modern
Extremely clean and modern room. Big bathroom with a great shower but not the best privacy if not traveling as a couple but this was easily gotten around. Nice balcony outside the room on which to enjoy the sun. Walking distance to everything including the funicular to the top of the hill. Staff very helpful and gave suggestions on what to do and where to eat which all turned out to be great.
