Just come back from a week at the Barcelo Teguise.
Weather wasn't great. Cloudy and pretty windy but it didn't matter. Can't really fault the hotel. Very peaceful. Very well run. Very relaxing and the food was great with huge choice.
Will definitely return. Thank you
We had a very enjoyable week on the island and found Lanzarote enchanting. We toured the island from top to toe and intend to return as there are many places that are worthy of a longer visit, particularly the old capital Teguise which is a lovely old town, full of history, as well as having an excellent arts and crafts market on a Sunday.
The hotel is in an excellent position in the up market area of Costa Teguise, on a promenade by the bay with some good shops close by. There is a small square with some excellent restaurants and a market on a Wednesday evening.
The weather was sunny apart from two cloudy days, but every day was warm and up to 25 degrees.
Found the hotel to be geared up for All Inclusive guests. If on half board you need to activate a credit card at reception straight away. Hotel some way from resort, so a car recommended. Typical All Inclusive food in the evening, but a good price to go half board for a night.

Staff very helpfull, knowladgable & English Spanish German no problem. Resort & rooms constanmtley being cleaned.
Note the resort is closed 2016 Feb to April for refurb, which probabley means air con. We tend to holiday in the Winter so even 25-28oC & 18-20oC at night dont need A/C. Summer might. Great location & excellent bars & resturants.
I have not stayed all inclusive, but fellow travelers praised the food & drink.
I recomend the Los Zocos to couples or families as the site accomodates for both.
Edmund Goode stayed Nov 16 / 22nd 2016 I will be back
This hotel was everything i was hoping for. It was my 3 year old daughters first time abroad, so i chose this hotel based on the facilities (swimming pool, mini golf, kids club etc...), the location and previous reviews. It was brilliant from start to finish. The rooms were pretty basic, however this was fine for what i paid. They were clean and attended to every day. I organised a surprise for my other half (cake and champagne) and the staff put it in our room ready and waiting for when we got there on our first day. It was a lovely gesture and made all the difference to our experience. The staff could not of been more helpful and friendly. The breakfast was out of this world, so much choice i felt like a kid in a sweet shop. I am sure the lunches and dinners we equally as good. But i am glad i only chose breakfast as there was so much choice of restaurants, it would be a shame to miss out on them. What i classed as the town centre, is a 5 minutes bus ride away (Bus No:3.) It is right outside the hotel as well and run very frequently. Overall an amazing holiday and one we will not forget. Thank you to everyone that made it special.
Perfect hotel for families with kids. Rooms have separate bedroom and kitchenette and spacious balcony.
Hotel facilities great- plenty of loungers round swimming pools, kids club, small kids play ground, entertainment (fitness classes, water polo, kids fun etc).
Restaurant well catered for kids, wide range of food. Did get a bit busy at times but try to avoid peak times. Able to swap dinner for lunch on half board basis.
Staff very friendly and helpful.
Very close to shops, restaurants, bars and beach (5-10min walk).
Hotel staff are friendly and attentative. Rooms are clean and functional although could do with a lick of paint at some stage. Food was ok and choice was good at breakfast. Evening meal selection wasn't too bad either. However daytime snack choice was poor - chips, hot dogs and burgers every single day!!! Overall, hotel was a good budget hotel and delivered a relatively good service.

We have just come back from the Nazaret and will go back again early next year. We paid 140 euro's for 4 nights and it was worth every penny. Staff are really excellent, helpful and friendly..Location is fantastic, central but tucked away behind the main street. Rooms are slightly dated, but large, clean and well equipped..3 great pools, nice little pool bar etc..2 nice touches..good bottle of wine left in your room on arrival and 2 fresh crusty rolls left in a bag on your door handle every breakfast time..We really appreciated how hard these guys work to make your stay special and that's why we will come back again next year..This is not a 5 star resort, but it ticks all the box's as far as we are concerned.Thank you to all at Nazaret..we have had a lovely time.

Developed in the late 1970s as a luxury holiday playground, Costa Teguise is today no longer exclusive, but remains a very popular family resort. Low-rise apartments and smart hotels face onto a sheltered bay favoured by windsurfers – novices and experts alike. Its busy nightlife clusters around an “old village”-style square. Lanzarote’s only water park and its one golf club (a picturesque 18-hole course) lie within the resort’s boundaries.
