We checked in at about 9.45 pm as we pulled up in the taxi the road was blocked of by police and ambulances , we was told there was an incident out side but the reception was full of police ,we checked in and all week the staff had said there was a incident out side when we returned home we found out the some one was murdered on the second floor but no one mentioned it at all

Great location for the beach and many great restaurants within walking distance. Our room was huge with lots of space and the bathroom was gorgeous. Breakfast was nice but nothing too amazing, and the Wi-Fi wasn't good but I would definitely stay again.

Room had disgusting sewer like gas smell (rotten eggs)- perhaps because hadn’t been used in a while - staff “solved it” by spraying disinfectant down the drains but then room smelled of disinfectant. We were told the smells were normal?! We had no choice but to stay but cancelled our second night.

The hotel was in a great location and the room was a good size. The facilities were very basic e.g. no wardrobes and drawers and no kettle etc. and if you are in a room by the main road there is traffic noise throughout the night. The spa facilities were nice but massage was not the best.

Lovely hotel near beach
Lovely hotel. Big room and great bathroom. Air conditioning worked well. Staff were helpful when we asked questions and let us use the pool and shower whilst we were waiting to catch our flight. 3 minute walk to the beach. Pool and pool area was clean and well looked after. Would stay again.

Hotel was fab. Huge room and even bigger bed. So comfortable. Rain head shower was so relaxing. Plenty of chairs by the pool and nice shaded area. 20 second walk to the beach. Nice and quite location but close to everything. Only complaint I have and it’s minor, I’d no wifi in my room bar in 1 corner in the bathroom where I huddled when I needed wifi. But if you want to relax and unwind I’d recommend this hotel

Chilling out time
First time in the Magnolia hotel and first time in an adults only hotel. The hotel was in a great central location, couple of minutes to the beach and main promenade with shoos and restaurants. The hotel was very strict about mask wearing which was great. Breakfast was plenty and lovely. Cleaners were available every day to clean the room and provide clean towels if you wanted. Also provided towels for the pool which was a lovely area.

Amazing room.
Room was awesome! Largest shower I have ever seen. Bathtub was in the glass shower "area" (you could have a small party in there). Rain shower head poured the water down on you. Balcony was huge wrap around (but we had corner). Heat worked great and WiFi was good. Bed was very comfortable. Shower was hot and large volume of flow. Staff was friendly and helpful. Street and room were quiet. Parking on the street was free because of the season (winter). Would stay here again.

Nice rooms with huge bathrooms and massive beds, very nice. Awful cleaning service and beds were thrown together by housekeepers instead of actually made! Spa area and gym only open for 2 hours a day.. needs to be open much longer! Pool ok. Breakfast....poor!

The hotel was very nice and clean with welcoming and helpful staff. Information was easy to obatin and the hotel was close to the sea front. My only issue was that the small refrigerator in my room did not work correctly and failed to keep drinks cold as it was faulty. Other than this the facilities and hotel was very pleasant

In a great location; close to the beach and a number of shops, cafes, bars and restaurants. Room was very comfortable (superior room), with loads of space and a good sized balcony. Breakfast was adequate and the pool bar seemed reasonably priced. Liked it so much, we're considering going back.

This is not 4 stars
This had to be the worst 4 star hotel I've stayed in,when arrived there was a problem with the fridge,because it was Sunday no maintenance was available, the air didn't work, the pool bar wasn't even open,even tho its said it is,it says free wifi,its not,only a computer at reception is,the safe you have to pay for 5 euros a day,there is not drinks making facilities, even tho it should have,we asked and got a kettle but no coffee or tea,its now 1900 hrs and the pool bar is still not open,last night our balcony lights weren't on until 2230,when we asked we were told they come on automatic, but was told they couldn't override them but could switch them off if we wanted,what it says on booking page isn't true tbh wont be back 4 stars !!!!!!they must have stole them,if this is an example of adults only hotel they can stuff it

Very clean and modern, massive beds that were really comfy, good air con, pool was a nice size and plenty sunbeds, breakfast ok, continental, (€6.50 if booked in advance). Really lovey peaceful hotel and only a brief walk to the beach bars and plenty shops

Bad .. thin walls .. could hear every word from next door rooms .. loud cleaners early in the morning .. got very little sleeep.. no mini bar .. no tea or coffee in room .. spa only open 5-8pm .. Good .. very nice staff .. close to beach and many eateries .

Central location
Only a couple of minutes from the promenade and location fairly quiet. Nice relaxing hotel but let down by lack of facilities. In particular, the pool bar was closed most of our stay (early September) so if you wanted a drink while relaxing by the pool you had to pop over the road to a shop. Fridge in room but no kettle to make late night or early morning hot drink, (and nowhere to buy one as bar closed!) Coffee from machine at breakfast was not particularly good. Main course food for evening meal was very disappointing for this class of hotel. Served barely warm in most cases and poorly presented. Dining area generally gloomy. On a more positive note, the room was spacious, with excellent shower room.

Road-tripping through Spain - chose this hotel on the day as Salou looked like a great place to stop. We lucked out - a great hotel - clean, quiet. Nice pool and bar area - good breakfast. Rooms clean and comfortable. And we loved Salou

Very nice with the added bonus of no kids!
The only reason I've not given it an excellent for comfort was the fact our room didn't have blackout curtains - which I was surprised and disappointed by because the sunlight disturbed me in the very early morning. I was however pleasantly surprised that the bed was actually comfortable and not your usual rock hard European mattress! Two large singles pushed together with a soft foam topper making one very large and comfortable bed. Breakfast was a good selection and there were even churros one morning! Spa was ok but the steam room wasn't on the one time we went and the jacuzzi was luke warm. Quiet location on a side road - 1 minute walk to the main road with shops and restaurants, 2 minute walk to the beach and 5 minutes walk to some excellent restaurants at the end of the beach with a lovely view of the sunset.
