great hotel close 2 diff. beaches + swimmingpools
We had a great experience: I was able to practise my Spanish I was in the process of learning. Staff was patient and understanding, although everybody speaks English. We did not have All Inculive but half board which was entirely sufficient. The food at the Buffetts was plentiful and tasty and catered for every palate and different allergies. (for Breakfast Lactose and Gluten-free was readily available, for Dinner Gluten free also) However this could have been signposted/advertised a little better (maybe a rough map at the entrance?) The dining room is very big and the choice huge! On many occasions the food was prepared individually in front of our eyes. Very impressive. Lovely waiting staff to clear and prepare the tables!
The rooms were at a impeccable standard, serviced on a daily basis by very cheerful chambermaids. The only drawback was that we found 1 cockroach on two occasions late at around 23.00 hours. Reception quickly removed them for us. our theory: they were probably due to us leaving the balcony doors open more often in that room. (we had interconnecting rooms (as we requested) on the 8.floor. We saw 2 more on the outside of the other balcony - I'm glad, we left the doors closed at night while using the air condition.
The entertainment was very good, when we attended it, because we were also busy, seeing the island.
