The location of the hotel is very good for sightseeing as it is placed very central and next to an subway station. Do not expect to much from the hotel. the hotel rooms are tiny, not a lot of space there and old fashioned. The room cleanliness ist still ok, but could be better.
The staff at the hotel reception are doing their job, but not more. Do not expect extra help or support. During our stay happened construction work starting at 8am in the morning without any notice from the hotel. Maybe the hotel could inform their guests about that in advance.
The hotel was more than adequate.
Room was a little small. It was close to center of town and easily available to the bus that you could ride around and get on and off where you wanted to. The restaurant offered a very varied buffet for breakfast that was included in the room price. Dinner at night was extremely well done. Great food and service.
My daughter and I enjoyed every bit of our 3-day stay.
The waterfall in the pool followed by the sauna was delightful.
Enjoyed the mini buffet at the American Bar though I never found out why it was "American".
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this hotel, the staff were warm, welcoming and helpful. The bedroom was spacious and very comfortable. The bathroom was very good, just a little small, but had everything one needed for a short stay. Breakfast was buffet style but plentiful and the coffee is excellent. The hotel location is perfect for a visit to Milan - there is a metro stop just across the road but we prefer to walk and everything is within walking distance, giving you the opportunity to see the city.
"Polite staff; close to city centre/shopping/train"
We had a nice stay. Hotel staff were polite and spoke English well. The lobby was nice, our room slightly less so. Some of the hallways were a bit run down. We were close to the city centre, shopping, subway, and train station. And the price was right.
Hotel Serena is situated at a short distance from Milan's financial centre, right at the corner of Corso Buenos Aires and …More
Close to the historic centre, this is one of the largest commercial main roads, and is well served by the metro. It has a cosmopolitan feel and brims with ethnic restaurants. It is also an important shopping centre and just a short distance from the fabled designer district, the 'quadrilatero'. Nearby too is the Castello Sforzesco, famous for Michelangelo's last work, the Pietà Rondanini.
