Very central b&b 2 min walk from town and beach. Room we had was clean with private facilities and comp breakfast every morning was a bonus. Michelle and family are lovely and make you feel very welcome. Only down side is No residents lounge so only place to relax is your room and no where to sit in room except bed. Our bed creaked at every movement which meant my husband didn't sleep well incase he disturbed anyone. Would suggest upgrading the beds. Other than that great location and would definitely use again if in the area.

When we arrived at the hotel and were waiting for the room key when we noticed a sign on the wall saying the hotel no longer did cooked breakfasts. We were not informed of this prior to our arrival by the hotel or the website we booked it through (Trivago)!! So we went along the seafront and found a hotel with a sea view that did do cooked breakfasts for exactly the same price. The hotel staff were very understanding though at the original hotel we'd booked and accepted why we couldn't stay there.

Lovely B&B in a great location
Lovely B&B in Newquay which we found to be very central, everything was walkable. The staff were really friendly and made our stay very enjoyable. Rooms/bathroom were nice and clean. Would 100% recommend!

Overall nice experience

Old uncomfortable beds. Dirty bed sheets.
Dirty socks found behind the bedside table which I am sure it is still there. (Room 5) Dirty towels and bedsheets. Traffic noise does not make it any easier.

Perfect Newquay stay
The room was clean and spacious. Location was amazing as only a few mins from town centre. Breakfast and staff were friendly and tended to our every need. Breakfast was lovely. Would definitely book again!

The owners of st breca are lovely, asked every day if we needed anything, the breakfast is lovely, location is good for beach and town,the hotel room is basic but spotlessly clean, it's a little noisy from road traffic but we were out most of the time so didn't bother us.wish we were there longer than a week

Excellent Location!
We had a lovely stay in Newquay. The location of this hotel is in the heart of all the action, close to all the shops and restaurants and in walking distance of the beach. This is a family run hotel and they were very welcoming. The breakfast each morning was great and everyone was super friendly. I could have not chosen a better place for our weekend stay.

We stayed for 2 nights and the location of the B&B is great, just a short walk to both the shops and the beach. Nice big clean room on ground floor which suited our family. The breakfast is excellent, cereals and fruit juice followed by full english brekky cooked just how you like it. A very friendly, well run family B&B.

The overall impressive is good. The room is of reasonable size for a family of three staying just for a few days. The bathroom is a bit small, even for Asian. The towel looks grey, which I think should be white. But we bring our own for every trip so that is not a real problem. The host is friendly and nice. The breakfast is good. One thing to consider when booking the room, car park is not necesarily available and is on first come first serve basis. I am not sure if that is mentioned in the website. The first night, we parked our car in the next street by the road. It is just a few minutes walk from the B&B, but still.

Lovely B&B in a great location
The B&B is in a fantastic location, very close to the high street, but just far enough away to be away from most of the noise. The people running the place are lovely and friendly and gave us useful advice about a trip we were planning on one of the days.

NOISY WITH A CAPITAL N
We did not expect a lot for £70 per night b and b but were disappointed with a lot of things. The room clean but on the front of the building on a main road. There were a lot of small things like the housekeeper forgetting to leave milk, a spoon etc and we had to ask for these things every day. The wardrobe was an alcove, 6 coat hangers and no cover and the stool was very dirty, I draped a towel over it to sit on. These things were not something I would complain about though. What made us leave 3 days early (we lost our money) was the NOISE. From 6 in the morning until 5 in the morning there was constant noisy traffic and revellers from 2 until 5. Not just cars but vans, lorries, bikes. We calculated that a vehicle went past every 5 seconds. It was also a road that seemed to attract speeders and racers. We just could not sleep, we tried closing the window but this didn't dim the noise. Then the second day about 40 Hells Angels arrived at the hotel opposite. Their favourite pastime was driving up and down the road all nigh with no silencers on their bikes. We just couldn't take anymore. The bed was poor, the undersheet and fitted sheet didn't fit and kept coming off. So we left and came home. I would also like to say that the owners were very nice people but they do not pay attention to details and I would not recommend this b and b at all.

I would highly recommend this hotel to other people without a doubt. The hotel is situated in such a brilliant location. The room is all you need for your stay. Staff are excellent as friendly helpful and always there to help regardless of the time.

Not as Described - Unreasonable Attitude To Refund
It was not clear the room I had booked a shared bathroom - I had to find somewhere else -then they argued the point with Hotels.com on issuing a refund -Hotels.com sorted it for me - Understandably I can not therefore recommend this hotel And the free parking is very limited and so you will need to arrive early otherwise it will cost you another £10 to park in public car park a few streets away which is a steep uphill walk if you have luggage too.
