Lovely base to visit Newquay
Lovely hotel. Clean and comfotable with pool, games room, ping pong table and bar. Breakfast was amazing. Fiona was very friendly and helpful.

Short stay
Lovely little hotel, very friendly staff a short walk from the shops bars and beach, Only stayed 3 nights whilst travelling round Cornwall but wish we stayed here the whole time, not the most modern but very clean and friendly helpful staff, nice choice at breakfast and very tasty too.

Overall good and friendly.
Lovely friendly, family run Hotel. Well positioned for walking down hill into town. Lovely heated pool. Breakfast very good. Nothing seemed too much trouble. Only thing that could do with improving was the wifi which only covered the reception area. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Plus points are Fiona and staff are very friendly and the breakfast and location was good. Bad points. Got given a family room number 15 overlooking the garden area which was ok, but did request a sea view room. The bed was so uncomfortable and you would need binoculars to watch the postage stamp tv in the corner. Towels need renewing and bath mat was the smallest I have ever seen. Needs a shelf above the sink for your toiletries as there is nowhere to place them. Curtains were not the black out type, so even if you could get to sleep on the bed, the light coming in kept you awake. Felt like an old people’s home in many respects. Just a few updates would benefit this hotel, because I felt at £93 per night,it was a bit steep. I stay away a lot through the year and have always been fair with my comments.

Priory Lodge feels like home away from home
We used the Priory Lodge as our base for travel while in South West England on vacation. The hotel provided good access to both the North and South Cornish coasts which made it an excellent choice. The Lodge is a short walk from the high street in Newquay putting a wide selection of restaurants close by. The harbor is also a short walk from the hotel. The staff at Priory Lodge (led by Fiona) made our experience there very pleasant. By the end of our stay, the staff felt like family. The Priory Lodge was an excellent choice for our family.

The staff were all really friendly and went out of their way to help. The food was lovely. Decor was dated and carpet in the room a little grubby. Great view from the balcony.

Lovely hotel. Staff very welcoming and friendly. Clean, spacious room with use of a heated outdoor pool. Few minutes walk to shops, beach etc. We stayed for 2 nights and was not disappointed with our visit. Would definitely visit again.

Best Customer Service
Extremely nice staff. We were upgraded upon arrival due to the fact that we had an infant. Good food and an amazing view. I highly recommend.

Priory Lodge a hit!
This is a great hotel. Very clean and bright, up-to-date bathrooms, the location is perfect, just minutes' wlk to town & beach. The proprietor, Fiona, was lovely, so helpful, and gave us a room with an ocean view. Very nice!

Excellent except for the bed
Our single complaint was the comfort of the bed. It was rock solid and we got no sleep for the 2 nights we were there. Every other aspect of the hotel and staff etc was perfect.

You cannot choose where to sit at the restaurant.
I went wirh my family, the hotel is ok, nice breakfast but to be honest, they give you a table and you keep it all days.... And no view, as they are always reserved. So , I woke up early to get a nice table and to my suprise I was near the wall? Thanks a lot, why? Why is not possible my breakfast at the empty tables ...... As I was first person.... in an empty restaurant? Incredible, i dont like that policy at all...... It is 2016, and it is obvious and fair if you want a nice table , you get up early. Then, if this policy is still next year, I will not come back, as this is not school.... Under a director's preferences. The room was ok, but just two sad shampoos, I recommed you bring yours... Or they should add more.

It was ok, menu for dinner was poor, no selection. Breakfast was great. The pool was heated but me and my girlfriend had a lot of itchy spots the next day after we stayed? Might be coincidence. But overall it was grand did kept the rain out, we lived through another day :)

Extremely conveniently located hotel
2 to 5 minutes walk and you are right in the heart of Newquay and its seafront. The car park is on a slope but there are spaces outside front entrance where I preferred to park. Also two entrances which are also exits, use exit to the right of entrance door facing the hotel. The left hand exit is extremely steep and awkward to drive out onto main road. My room was on the ground floor and very clean and comfortable. Shower was adequate but ok. Breakfast and evening meal choices were very good, evening meal menu was produced at breakfast for selection and ordering. Hotel staff were extremely welcoming, friendly and helpful. An enjoyable break! I would stay at this hotel again for certain.

Mycket trevlig personal på något slitet hotell. Lyhört - grannens snarkningar lät som om han var i vårt rum. Enbart badkar på vårt rum (nr 16) och inget duschdraperi eller nånstans att hänga dusch-handtaget vilket innebär sitta ner o duscha eller skvätta ner halva badrummet...Liten dubbelsäng, ingen king size. Otroligt varmt på rummet som vätte mot vägen - kunde inte sova med öppet fönster pga trafiken och måsarna som förde oljud. Frukost bra, läget bra och trevlig personal.

Accoglienza gentilissima, disponibilità a ripetere anche per chi conosce poco la lingua inglese, possibilità di cenare con prezzi e cibo accettabili. Camera (16) senza vista mare, ma comunque grande anche nel bagno. Alcune piccole imperfezioni: tipico delle case inglesi , gradini dappertutto; wifi solo al piano terra; l'acqua della bellissima piscina è "freschina" per gli standard italiani
