Rooms full of damp smell of damp . Bathrooms full of mould . Cut our holiday sort buy two days . As couldn’t stay in that hotel any longer

The 1st room we were offered was a disabled room. We returned to reception and they were able to find a more suitable room. We found the breakfast to be good.

Hotel and village of Mallow great!
Wonderful hotel with an incredible leisure ctr with pool, sauna, steam room, jacuzzi, and gym; daily breakfast was fantastic and substantial. Mallow is a great, relaxing small town, but large enough to have plenty of groceries, shopping, a movie theater, restaurants and bars. Also has a neat series of walking trails around the city- all paved and flat. Train station is a 10-15 minute walk to hotel on paved sidewalks. Intercity bus stop is about 5 mins from hotel. Although i really liked Cork city, i am glad i stayed in mallow- train ride to Cork was only 15 mins and inexpensive. Had no problems in hotel- water was hot, wi fi was great, etc. Highly recommend this hotel and town!

Hotel was OK. Parking was a bit confusing but once we figured it out it was ok. No restaurants around the area except for McDonald's across the street. We ate at the hotel, and it was quite good. Biggest downside is the room was incredibly hot so sleep was not good. Overall good value / option for a night passing through!

Our room was very warm when we first walked in. Had to spend the evening with the door open to let in some cool air. Our toilet was a bit frustrating to flush because it was broken. The pool was nice and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Even provide you with free parking.

The hotel itself was very nice. It was clean and comfortable. Lovely pool area with a rain water pool. The only issue we had was in the restaurant, myself and my husband ordered garlic mushrooms as a starter while our son ordered a chowder. Chowder came looked great and tasted good. Garlic muahrooms arrived and there were 2 mushrooms on each plate with a small side salad. This was priced at €7.90. When i questioned this the watress called the manager. Who told me it was because of covid and that they struggled!! This is rip off ireland at its best. We decided not to be ripped off paid for my sons food and left. Lovely little thai restaurant nextdoor with reasonable portions and great service.

COMFORTABLE ROOM
For a one night stay the room was adequate with all facilities. The hotel does have a bar and a restaurant but on this occasion we asked the hotel to recommend a good restaurant which did take away as we just wanted to chill in room which they did called 'Khao Asian street food'. Whilst placing order a customer complained about having something resembling plastic in their dish but thinking this a one off we still placed our order. Then whilst eating my pad thai, I too found something sharp and hard in my dish, so I went back to restaurant to inform them and was told chef will get back to me after investigating. They rang back a few minutes later in my room and informed me it was a piece of mussel shell from my dish. I had no mussels in my dish, their explanation was it came from the stock, surely you sieve the stock before using in a dish, especially when you get several complaints. The hotel was informed of this but we felt they supported the restaurant more than their customer. Despite this the overall Hotel and breakfast which we had to inform them that was included was of a good standard, unfortunately we didn't have time to use the pool.

The property was located in a high street which required investment, it stretched back up a hill with ground floor kitchens and social areas creating noise and cooking smells. Very 1970’s!

Good bar, delicious breakfast, and great fitness amenities. Staff was great. Room was spacious. Its an older hotel so the conditions of the interior reflect the age; however, still nicely kept.
