We selected this hotel as we wanted a 4 or 5 star hotel within easy walking distance of Corfu town with sea view and indoor pool for a one-week stay. Staff were friendly and professional, room fine, lovely sea view. Unfortunately the indoor pool was being renovated and the spa was closed. We were offered a free transfer to another hotel 10 minutes away which did have pools. The hotel managed to get its outdoor pool open while we were there. Breakfast was lovely with an excellent choice. We booked a rental car for the day through the hotel which was all fine. Warning - smoking is allowed in the lounge, which therefore stinks.

It is not expensive. It needs a refurb. If you have not been to Greece before you might turn your nose up. Bed was comfortable and the place was clean. Right opposite departure point of Paxos ferry. Staff helpful and friendly.

Great hotel for overnight stay prior to flying. Fun watching the planes take off and land. Staff are lovely, rooms comfortable with slippers and dressing gowns and small bottle of wine. Beds a little too soft and usually twin beds pushed together. Bus stop outside, a few tavernas walking distance. The best thing is the breakfast which is a plus prior to flying so fill your boots! Main complaint for us is we have failed on both occasions we have stayed here to ever get served at the bar as there is never any bar staff in sight so we go to the lovely Nico next door in the mini market and take a bottle of wine to our room instead.

The island's elegant capital, Corfu Town centres on the Spianada, a large, well-kept green where locals play cricket, and the Liston, a 19th-century, French-designed arcade housing old-fashioned cafes. Guarded by two massive fortresses, the Italianate old town is a warren of old churches, smart boutiques and traditional tavernas. There is a busy port and large yachting marina on the waterfront. Daily excursions run across the channel to Albania.
