Disappointed no porter to help with luggage on arrival - reception efficient but not friendly.
Impossible to get a taxi throughout entire stay - seems to be a shortage when cruise ships arrive, however Ideal for seeing the sights of Mon Repos, the monastery, old ruins and beautiful little church on the Paleopolis peninsula, as well as being easy walking distance to the old town - wonderful to come back to relax by beautiful clean salt water pool.

The weather was lovely, the hotel full, but the rooftop was closed for repairs. One of the primary selling features is the spectacular rooftop view and seating area. It promised leisurely evenings with views of the sea. Alas, the hotel was not ready for the season.
The twin beds in the rooms were comfortable but more in line with European 2 and 3 star hotels.
Some of the rooms are designated for smokers. Some are presumably "smoke free". We had to place a damp towel at the base of the door to keep the smoke from filtering into the room throughout the night.
The location was worth the unpleasant surprises. It's just far enough from the down town to escape the noise but close enough to provide easy walking access to all of the restaurants and shops.
It wouldn't take much to be a 4 star hotel. An upgrade to the beds, eliminating smoking, more thoughtful preparation of the facility during the off-season...

Advertised pictures of facilities doesn't match reality. This hotel definitely shouldn't be advertised as 5 star. The view is amazing, location would be perfect, but airport is so close you can hear every plain takin off. Despite having some problems with the room and noise of a plains we had great holiday. Word of advice, stay clear from Flisvos cafe if you looking for place to eat.

We chose the hotel largely because of its proximity to the port as we were leaving early the next morning for Paxos. You can't fault the staff who were really accommodating - preparing a takeaway breakfast for us (including hot coffee!) because we missed opening time and leaving the kitchen open until late in the evening for a more than decent dinner. The rooms are clean but a touch sparse and I wouldn't have been very happy if I had chosen it for a long stay. It's super convenient for Paxos travellers. We could literally trail our bags across the road to the waiting ferry.

Walked to the hotel from the airport, easily. A less than one minute very early morning cab ride to the airport was overpriced, but it was too early to walk (still dark).
The actual stay at the hotel was fine with the exception of the noise from the street. This made it impossible to open the balcony doors for fresh air and it was very warm so had to use AC, which I dislike.

Not the smartest hotel in town but we enjoyed our stay. Obviously the hotel is convenient to the airport but it's also near the bay, good, cheap restaurants and the bus into the centre of corfu town. The staff are friendly and helpful .

The island's elegant capital, Corfu Town centres on the Spianada, a large, well-kept green where locals play cricket, and the Liston, a 19th-century, French-designed arcade housing old-fashioned cafes. Guarded by two massive fortresses, the Italianate old town is a warren of old churches, smart boutiques and traditional tavernas. There is a busy port and large yachting marina on the waterfront. Daily excursions run across the channel to Albania.
