Large 80’s style hotel. Clean open spaces . Large rooms . It’s as if you went into a time warp and landed in 1983 . No renovation but everything still in order . The blow dryer useless so bring your own if you need it . Cafeteria and breakfast buffet have a decent selection of drinks and food nothing fancy . It needs a major upgrade . Beds and pillows need to be more comfortable much more comfortable!!!! Fridge is not stocked ! . It’s a good place for a night or two if you are in large groups or your operations

Our room was very confined

Knowing only a few words of Spanish was of no hindrance to our stay at this perfectly located hotel in Badajoz. For instance, the reception staff helped us order taxis and transitioned seamlessly between Spanish and fluent English, for which we were most grateful. Having said that, all the staff were friendly, courteous and helpful, initiating polite salutations in both languages as they recognised our Spanish language limitations. The restaurant staff quickly learned our choices of drinks, both hot and cold. Often they would offer us our coffee just as we liked it. A very nice touch, thank you! As mentioned by previous reviewers, the hotel location is perfect for arrival and departure by bus through the convenient proximity of the bus station 2 minutes walk away. We had many day trips to neighbouring towns, even one to Seville, by clean, efficient and inexpensive buses. The historical walled city is a leisurely 10 minute stroll away from the hotel, with many cafes en route. On days when we got weary after a long walk, a short, inexpensive taxi ride returned as efficiently to our comfortable hotel and room for relaxation. I would recommend this hotel to anyone seeking a base in the city/region for exploring the history and culture in this beautiful part of Spain. We stayed for 8 nights in May before moving onto Portugal.

Did not have breakfast. Staff were extremely helpful and parking was good. Hotel is a bit dated.

Excellent service, Mary the receptionist very nice, informative and help us with everything we needed. The only thing we didn't like was that you are not able to control the AC from the room. That means that since it's already winter there, they had the air conditioning on very high and we had to sleep with the heating on. The hotel is far from the downtown, very close to the express way.
