"This is an old hotel in a nice location that has been updated. Ot has the feel of an old European hotel. It was clean, and thoughtfully prepared for my stay…mostly. The bed was comfortable, yet there was no blanket! A throw blanket placed on the bed as a decoration had to fit the bill. The wardrobe was old and refinished. However, the doors didn’t stay closed, so they would swing out into the room unexpectedly. But I was able to fix it so it would stay closed during my stay. The bathroom had been updated and nicely appointed, but was fitted with. 2’ x 2’ shower, with a small shower head coming straight down from the ceiling. No way to get out of the path of the water to lather up, and the faucet handle was the kind you pulled up and turned to adjust the temp and flow. This not only reduced the area in the shower, but was easy to hit while showering, creating a sudden change in water temperature and/or flow. The shower curtain was plastic, and the convection currents caused it to move into the shower area. Some magnetic weights at the bottom of it would be useful to keep that from occurring. The bathroom was also slightly elevated by about 4 inches, creating a trip hazard. After tripping twice, I placed a pillow on the threshold to remind me to watch my step. All that aside, I would stay there again, should I need to stay in the area. "

"The worst place I’ve ever booked on Expedia. The smell in the room was horrible. It’s nothing like the pictures. People yelling all night. There was one woman screaming from 7 A.M until about 10A.M. When you tell the front desk they just say “Oh” I wouldn’t stay here again ever. "

"Hotel is very nice - a grand hotel from the past - service is very good, as is food. However late at night there were VERY loud motorcycle noises and in middle of night a prone in adjacent room rang for several minutes with no answer, so difficult to get a good night of sleep."

"The room was very nice and I was very happy to have booked a room with a patio for my two dogs. A bellman said he would bring welcoming packs for the dogs, but never did, but my guys had everything they needed. Great stay."

"This hotel is a scam. Expedia should alert traveleres that this hotel closes their office for check ins at midnight and do it BEFORE we are forced to pay in advance. You srole my money I will never use Expedia again and for sure I made a Google review so people know before they get scammed. I am awaiting a refund from you. Ty Diana 954-461-1868 "
