Check in - unwelcoming reception staff. Room - incredible room, gorgeous fittings, finished to the highest of standards. Amenities - no tea or coffee in the room. Only able to buy from cafe in reception between certain limited hours. Poor bar area, feels like you are sitting in reception having a drink. Overall needs work, but the room was lovely. In a very quiet area, about 10 / 15 min walk from the main area.

What a wonderful stay! We booked last minute, as our flight was canceled due to the weather. Even without our luggage, it was such a pleasant stay. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the rooms were beautiful, and the breakfast was amazing!

Staff are so friendly and helpful. The hotel was lovely and clean with great amenities. Within walking to all attractions. Over all had a wonderful stay and will definitely be back again!

Amazing architectural restoration of the building! Our room had a phenomenal waterview and amazing loft space for a third person. They had mentioned a full breakfast, but this was an exceptional breakfast spread, my family and I thoroughly enjoyed it! I would recommend this to anyone that wants a stunning design and amazing location. I can't wait for my next visit to CPH and stay at the Admiral!

Lovely room and hotel in a great location. In the centre of things but really quiet and near to the metro. A few tweaks would make it perfect. Bathroom toiletries in mini plastic bottles are bad for the environment but also very hard to use/squeeze as the plastic is so stiff. Occasional waft of drains from the bathroom sink. Towels all smelled like cooking fat.

Great hotel full of charm and attentive staff who were all very helpful. I didn't eat in so can't comment on the SALT dining room. The sauna and relaxation area was lovely and what a treat to have it exclusively (you book by the hour) but it's really hidden away on the website and not advertised at all within the hotel which is odd. It's a shame the steam room was not working when I visited. Lifts were a little temperamental. Myself and other guests had to get out and try another one which would let us go to the floors we wanted. This happened often. Construction work outside begins at 7.30am FYI but very quiet through the night. Overall, a lovely stay and I would highly recommend a room with a view of the canal.
