Booked a 2 double bed room for four people which I confirmed via phone day before check-in. upon check in we were told they sold out of the 2 double bed rooms. Huh? Next morning water was pouring from our bathroom ceiling. Unit above us had a leaky toilet. Only then were they able to find us a 2 double bed room. Since we were in the area for a basketball tourney we were out of our room most of the day. When we returned we noticed the new room only had 3 towels. requested additional towels at 10pm. At 11pm they were still not delivered. I offered to go to the front desk to pick them up but they were "still trying to find some towels." I also requested a blanket for the pull out couch. They "ran out of blankets, comforters, etc." Huh? we have stayed at this location several times previously. Not sure if it was an off weekend for them or what the deal was. VERY disappointing and NOT worth the price paid per night.

The hotel desk staff was rude. Made corrections to room dates and staff kept saying their system did not update and could not provide them with a room. My employees became frustrated and rented a room out of pocket somewhere else. The room reservation that was paid for was never checked in for or used due to the rudeness of staff.

This is a nice hotel, great breakfast! We did have a problem with the air conditioner for some reason it wasn’t working properly. One of the nights we did not have hot water to shower with. Other than that pretty nice stay. Customer service was good all sound.

Staff was welcoming and helpful! I won’t choose the 8th floor again just because it was a bit noisy for the air conditioning on top of the roof and the pool was smaller than I thought (pictures on the web seems is bigger) Everything else was treat! Beds are really comfortable and clean.

Room was good, Bed was good, free breakfast was excellent especially the chef made our omelette. Bathroom was horrible with sewage smell from the drainage. I think dirty was not draining properly and they need to fix it for future customers.

My family and I didn’t really get to rest it was so loud & at 7am and every hour until check out someone was knocking at the hotel room door. The heat in the room didn’t work I had to go down stairs to get covers and more towels.

I only booked this stay for one night. We were not able to sleep peacefully AT ALL due to children running up and down the hall playing ding dong ditch on our door past 10PM. I have never had this experience at a hotel.

Close to Bart station. Good breakfast. Clean. Nice staff. Problem is building design. Only 2 elevators worked and long waits for slow elevatir... Lack of Stairs ... one set is staff only through kitchen storage area...but i was allow to use them. The other set only exits outdoors.

This place is perfectly located by the bart train station, just walk and ride. Here's what I would do differently when staying here: 1. Check the room first, we were forced to switch rooms halfway through our stay: check if the toilet flushes, check if there's hot water in the bathroom, and check if the TV is working. All three did not work in our first room, plus there was no shampoo shower gel in the shower pumps and the towels were the size of kitchen towels. Once we switched rooms, all these major and minor problems were solved. First room was a dud, that's why I recommend checking everything before unpacking. And #2: when buying the bart card you have to buy a separate card for each rider. We bought one and put enough money on it for two travelers, then found out that you can't scan the same card twice, so we were forced to buy a second card - that means we now have a bart card with extra $20 on it and no way to get the money back. It's not hotel-related, but pertinent if your stay includes plans to use the bart.

Immaculate and inviting, with huge courtyard with plenty of space to relax. Breakfast was fantastic, with made-to-order omelettes, among many other offerings. Our only quibble was that on New Year's Eve, they had one lone bartender who was run off her feet. And who was also responsible for taking and delivering food orders! Also relating the "manager's happy hour," there was almost no food for the many adults and children. Meager crackers, carrots, and celery were never replenished, as far as we saw. This has not been our experience in the 5-6 other Embassy Suite hotels we have visited. There were a lot of guests. It was New Year's Eve. We were also not in love with paying 30 a night for parking, but what can you do?

Booked room with “snacks” and I’ve booked it many times before and this time sooo pathetic. 2 bottles of water 2 bags of chips, and a granola bar. Lobby bathroom absolutely disgusting. Toilet paper rolls sitting on the floor in front of toilet, no seat liners, shampoo bottles for hand soap. Took the kids to the pool counted over 30 cups and empty food containers. Went into the little store inside hotel, empty alcohol bottles just laying in the corner.

The room was great. Large and spacious. Buffet breakfast was excellent, although could have been heated better. Valet parking was the only option. $30 is steep for Walnut Creek and no mention of mandatory Valet parking was ever mentioned when booking. Toilet overflowed and had to be plunged and the shower soap on the wall was missing.
