Prior to my arrival, I made several attempts to contact the property to find out if I would be able to check in much earlier than the usual check-in time as I would be arriving right after midnight. After approximately 9 calls throughout the day I spoke with someone named Glenda who transferred me to a manager's extension where I left a voicemail message. I never received a call back.
The day of my trip, I made additional attempts to contact the property to find out if it made more sense to move my reservation earlier (even though it was already past the deadline to do so without additional charges at that point). Again, no responses until someone picked up and advised a manager would have to make that determination. Between myself and even Expedia customer service making attempts to contact the property, it was extremely difficult to reach someone.
When I finally arrived that night at approximately 12:45, I explained to the front desk attendant (May?) if it were possible to check in much earlier. She denied the request, even though I had no problem paying an early check in fee. After explaining my numerous attempts to contact the property, her only response was that the property is busy and refused to take any accountability with the poor response actions. During check out, I noticed the phones would ring and no attempts were made by any employees to answer the phones. Not sure how training goes, but I know busy volume and this was far from the busy I have seen elsewhere
