"The hotel was clean, staff was great, and the hotel is in a perfect location. The beach is beautiful, the pools are well kept & are lovely, and we love the area. My teens also loved the turtles they have in a pond too! However, the rooms are out dated and we found the beds uncomfortable and the showers got water all over the floor. Overall, a great stay!"

"Check in process is great and as you would expect. Breakfast was included on our stay and it was buffet style. Could have been better but what was there was ok. Nothing special but you won’t go hungry. The reason for the 3 star is in the maid service. It was spotty at best. We were supposed to have turn down service every night which should have included water but we only received water 2x and on some days the room was t even cleaned dispite the “clean the room” sign being on the door This hotel is never too busy and the staff are lovely and welcoming. I wouldn’t hesitate to come back"

"Did this hotel deserve 5 stars? No. Did it deserve 3 stars? Yes, but remember, 3 stars on Hotels.com is "OK". And for about $120 usd/night, on the beach, in PV, "OK" isn't bad. A lot of what frustrated me initially, was the contradictory info we received either through Hotels.com or at the property. When you check in, they give you a "Regulations and service time table" document. There is a lot of negative information, which I personally don't think is a good way to start a week at a hotel. The water was turned off once in the middle of the night and 3 times (that we noticed) during the day. One of these times was for 4 hours due to a broken pipe. We had to ask for someone to come up to the room with a bucket of water to flush the toilet. The maid was great until it was her day off and management evidently didn't think to cover her rooms. They had the room cleaned after we mentioned it. Hotels.com states there is no elevator but reviews mention 2 elevators with one of them broken. There are 2 elevators and one stopped working at least once/day. Hotels.com says there are 3 pools. However, one pool (adults only) is available for a 350p fee (good toward food/drink). The other pools are in a large patio area but there are only 6 umbrellas. Over the weekend we were there, you had to get out there early to snag an umbrella. So....not a bad hotel. Good location for the price. They need to update their Hotels.com info and their check-in document."

"1000/10 would recommend. This villa was the perfect place to celebrate our friend’s bachelorette. We were originally booked at another villa, but that villa double booked us last minute — it was a blessing in disguise because we landed on Casa Paakat. Daniela, Osvaldo, Sergio, and the rest of the staff were so amazing, fun, and accommodating. The views were spectacular and every single meal was to-die for. We were able to decorate the villa and tailor the daily menu to match the theme of the bachelorette. Daniela organized transportation to the villa from the airport and arranged in-house massages. The housekeeping staff did some of our laundry and freshened up our rooms every morning. We’ll be dreaming of this trip forever. "
