Pro: Nice room, comfortable bed, clean and fresh everywhere, well managed, well taken care or, friendly staff, close to beach, quiet and relaxed. Facilities are great, nice pool area, boat rental literally at end of hotel property. Con: breakfast fairly basic for a 5-star hotel, spa part not fully developed yet (still work in progress) Too much service is bad service, they checked room I think 3-4 times a day. Kept knocking to see if I needed new towels. It became annoying and they didn’t provide ”do not disturb” sign. Same in restaurant, nice when waiter checks in on you, asks if meal is nice. 5th-6th time it’s annoying. Let me enjoy my meal. They had the sign in bathroom, “we are environmentally friendly, we only change towels if you leave on floor” Yet they changed towels multiple times a day although I had them hung. Apart from hotel, nothing nearby within walking distance. Any other restaurants, bars, etc is 10-20 min drive.

Great hotel with fabulous service. Unfortunately a little isolated and food at onsite restaurant unimpressive. Nonetheless, a trip into town is not too far, although expensive by taxi.

This hotel is a run down mess not worthy of four stars. Staff was likeable, housekeeping was great. Don’t ask for anything sent to the room; they wanted to charge $50 euros to sent a bucket of ice to the room. That service is laughable and ridiculous. We were nickled and dimed our entire stay. We will pass on this motel the next time we are in Sardinia. Terrible place overall.

The room was not renovated and the shower was very old, but the area outside was beautiful. The pool was very nice. Also the staff was very professional and friendly. Very good service.

Could be better
Small and expensive rooms. Beautiful beach with overhanging trees, but slightly ruined by a large pile of trash at one end of the garden. The food is fair but nothing great. Cleaners and gardeners make a lot of noise banging around in the mornings. Water pressure in the rooms is a bit low, resulting in showers being a bit of a drizzle. Certainly a beautifui location, but left feeling like the hotel could do better for the price.

I stayed here last weekend with 3 friends and we had a fabulous trip to Sardinia made even more special by our stay at this amazing hotel. The hotel was beautiful. So chic and stylish. Everything about it was to the highest standard, I really cannot fault it. The pool area and surrounding gardens were also lovely and very well-maintained. Perfect for enjoying a pre-dinner cocktail and enjoying the sunset over the sensational view of the bay. The staff and customer service were excellent, and nothing was too much trouble. The bar stayed open for us two nights in a row (thank you Luca!) , and on our first night we were delayed, and the restaurant were also able to accommodate us for dinner even though it was late. On our last morning there we were given the use of our room right up until our departure time. Thank you Emanuela for looking after us. We were greeted always with a smile. Highly recommend if you are looking for a peaceful location but with everything you need right there. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Hotel La Coluccia and we will be back!

Great hotel - would recommend
Wonderful hotel in great position on water. Rooms lovely. Reception staff were very helpful. Coffee shop was great. Poolside service and the pool area were all very good too. Housekeeping also very good. Only complaint was main restaurant for dinner. Apparently 2 types of menus available but we were just assumed a la carte although no alternative explained to us. So everyone on set menus were getting there meals we were still waiting for out drinks, ordered as soon as we arrived but meals came before any drinks and then asked for a sauce with 3 different servers and never received. The next night tried again and again was made to feel inferior. Our room had lovely view of pool, garden and water. Apart from that would have hesitation in recommending this hotel or staying there again, it was one of the best of our holiday.

The young staff were v friendly and helpful but the older staff were hard work and not approachable. The place felt like it was tired and not trying. Could have been very good but the beach bar wasn’t open. Dining room was like a school dining room with cheap tables and chairs and strip lighting. Atmosphere was found wanting at all times of the day.

The perfect hotel for our honeymoon
Hotel La Coluccia was the perfect choice for our honeymoon, a stunning location, a beautiful hotel, attentive & professional staff, superb food - the whole 'package' really. We will definitely return, maybe for our first anniversary!

Lovely, stylish hotel, would definitely stay there again and recommend to friends. We loved the garden, with the outdoor gym facilities and hammocks. Pool area was very nice. Great breakfast and lunch. Hotel room was nice, clean and comfortable, but we had one with less attractive location. Bartender made the best Pina Coladas we've ever had! Less pleasing was the fact that guests put towels on the sun beds but didn't show up until 10:30am or even much later, and when we were there, there wasn't enough sun beds for all the guest who wanted to be close to the beach. Very annoying to arrive at the beach at 9:30am to see towels placed on all the sun beds but otherwise empty! The hotel should have a much stricter policy out of respect for those that actually want to enjoy the sun beds from early morning!

Exclusive location with PRIVATE BEACH
We spent most of our time outside the room so we had make a good choice not to go for the pricey Seaview room. The hotel offers great outdoor facilities with sun beds in garden overlooking the private beach and by the swimming pool. Also they have private section at the beach with umbrellas and long chair for its guests. Boat rental is also available. You can also enjoy the sunrise at the private beach. The official time to check in was 3pm but they allow us to have the room at 2pm as the room was ready at that time, which was great as we can put our luggage there and get change and enjoy the private beach. The restaurant at the hotel was casual with casual ambience. Not fine dining as described in the website, but the food was great. However, the spa area which is very quiet and dark with no signs of its existence. No staff attended in the wellbeing area. It is definitely need attentions as safety requirement. The room itself is OK. There is no bathroom as such but they put the shower is right in the middle of the room which is very strange. Overall the experience was great as the outdoor facilities were the highlights of the hotel.

Very romantic place to stay by the beach
We were very happy with this hotel. The location is great if you want to stay away from crowds. Very romantic and relaxing place to stay. It has it's own private beach with umbrellas and chairs and towels are provided by hotel. If you have a car, you can drive to many interesting places (all of them are within 1 hour of drive). Staff is very friendly, everyone speaks English and is trying to accommodate you in every way. We highly recommend this hotel to everyone who needs a real relaxing several days on the beach.

Nice retreat
We stayed for the first week in October. Unfortunately Sardinia was hit with some shocking weather during our stay which limited our ability to use the hotel outdoor facilities however it was still a lovely place to stay. With better weather it would be very relaxing to hangout by the pool or sit in the hammocks provided down near the private beach. It is located perfectly also to give you the feel of being away from the hustle of a city but also close enough to enable you to get in your car and explore the amazing coastline. Definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking to have a nice relaxing break in the north of Sardinia

Beautiful pines, architecture and restful rooms
The location of the hotel is incredible. It's next to a nature preserve and the hotel landscaping makes you feel as if there is a continuation of the nature preserve onto the campus. The staff couldn't have been nicer and accommodating, except for one person, front desk gal, that could care less. Food manager accommodated us with panini since we got in so late and she couldn't have been lovelier. It's a memorable hotel.

Bespoke Boutique Beachside hotel
Great location right on the beach. There is only the hotel and a restaurant opposite it called Container Gourmet in the area so if you want to explore further then you definitely need a car. Rooms are small but hotel itself is spacious and well laid out. You can lie by the pool, on the beach or under the trees in a hammock. Great spot for babies and hotel staff are very helpful. Restaurant is about 110 euro for 2 people for dinnern including wine and the food and wine list are good. Lunch is down at the beach and you can either get a foccacia or lovely grilled seafood and vegetables - which is worth the extra.

A gem in Sardinia
The hotel is a magnificent place set on a small bay with its own beach. The set up is beautiful. The rooms are cool, yet a bit small and lovely garden field with trees leads to the beach. the restaurant is nice, but compare to the high standard of the hotel it could be improved, especially the breakfast which was quite basic. The location is a bit isolated so you have to love the place and relax there. Santa Teresa di Galura is 20 minute drive away. The hotel stuff is very nice, friendly and professional.

Lovely boutique hotel - quiet and relaxing
We stayed a week with half board at hotel La Coluccia and truly enjoyed it. It has a lovely boutique character to it given the small size (<50 room) and is located directly by the small but relaxing private beach section. We started each morning with breakfast on the lovely restaurant balcony, looking out to the beautiful garden area and sea. We wanted a lazy vacation and therefore spent most days at the beach or on the beautiful garden area with comfort lounge chairs next to it. There is lovely fresh fish served over lunch directly at the small beach bar, right in front of your eyes, or meat and a selection of sandwiches. Alternatively, there is a small "gourmet container" restaurant just by the beach to serve alternatively some lovely pizza and sandwiches. We had half board and the dinner is truly fabulous - consisting of 4 courses which 2-3 small dishes each. Therefore, you can try a number of different pasta dishes, fish and meats throughout your stay. The staff is very open to special requests, so they once made fresh gnocchi just for us (as we asked the evening before) or exchanged certain dishes which we preferred over the standard dinner menu. All the staff is very friendly and approachable, while providing a very good service mentality. You can get almost anything, if you ask for it!

Fabulous hotel!
Fabulous hotel...even better than the description. Contemporary, minimilist in a beautiful scenery!...Nice pool surrounded by a pine forest leading to a nice little beach...a perfect place to relax. Many older couple are going there and even so the hotel is kids friendly, some of the guest are no so keen on kids running around and playing like kids do....breakfast is ok, because of the buffet option, but we were pleased not to have booked half board, as the evening meal is too formal (no buffet) and not so good with a 3 years ! The staff is very good and polite.... La Coluccia is a great place and we recommend it.

A brilliant place to come and get away from it

We chose this hotel for our honeymoon after seeing it on the Mr & Mrs Smith website. The hotel is in a very quiet part of Sardinia. Nice hotel, with very helpful staff. Very relaxing and quiet, however the meal choice is a tasting menu (very limited) and there is nothing to do in an evening. In our opinion the hotel is very over priced and we would suggest you look elsewhere for value for money.

Deutlich überteuert für mittelmäßigen Standard, Sehr unfreundlicher Kellner! Zimmertür mit Lücken, die so groß sind, dass man fast durchschauen konnte, keine Handtuchhalter im Bad, Man durfte nur drinnen frühstücken, selbst auf Nachfrage draußen essen nicht möglich. Als wir am ersten Tag einen Kellner gefragt haben, ob wir nicht draußen frühstücken könnten, war dies möglich, allerdings wurde man draußen quasi ausgesperrt, man musste klopfen, um wieder reinzukommen, weil ein anderer sehr unfreundlicher Kellner die Tür von innen zugemacht hat, angeblich wegen Wespen, wir haben draußen genau eine gesehen, an den nächsten Tagen hat uns der unfreundliche Kellner nicht gestattet, draußen zu frühstücken, Frühstück war ansonsten ok. An einem Tag hat die Putzfrau mein privates Handtuch weggeräumt und eine halbe Pizza, die wir uns aus einem Restaurant mitgenommen haben, in den Hausmüll geworfen. Als wir die Putzfrau zufällig gesehen haben und unseren Pizzakarton neben ihr im Müllsack lag, haben wir sie kurz drauf angesprochen und die Putzfrau hat uns freundlich unsere Pizza aus dem Müll wieder angeboten, irgendwie eine skurrile Situation für so ein teures Hotel. Als wir das beides an der Rezeption gemeldet haben, zeigten die sich sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit und wir haben kostenlos einen Burger essen können und mein Handtuch lag am Abend auch wieder gewaschen in unserem Zimmer. Insgesamt aber ein deutlich zu teures Hotel für den Standard, auf keinen Fall 5 Sterne wert.

Schöne Außenanlage und Strand, freundliches Servicepersonal. Sehr guter Zimmerservice. Abendessenauswahl sehr eingeschränkt, teilweise unfreundliche Bedienung, gehetzte Atmosphäre. Die Anlage wirkt in die Jahre gekommen, Dusche und Bad im Zimmer sind beengt, das Waschbecken ist ein Witz. Das WC hat einen unangenehmen Geruch verströmt. Ziemlich wackeliges Internet. Nette Strandbar, die aber nicht zum Hotel gehört.
