All of the staff at the Villa Flamenca were friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet was great! We like walking, and everything was close enough to walk to, including the beach, shopping, and restaurants. We also had a meal at the hotel restaurant and it was great. They offer a good happy hour and we liked the nachos. We got the basic room and it was small, but that’s common in Spain so we are used to that. It was clean, which is what we care about most. Will stay here again if we go back to Nerja!

Dear guest, We do not know what could have happened and we regret you have that impression of our hotel. We understand that a treatment as the one you describe, should have been brought to the attention of the hotel management during your stay, as we don't know when, where, how many people or what specific problem you must have had with the hotel. You could have made use of your rights as a consumer by requesting the claim and complaint form specifying what went wrong. Hiding under an anonymous comment is respectable but not very uplifting and credible, specially when hotel staff try at all times to make clients feel at home. Anyhow, to consider us as horrible people is too hard description for us. Best regards,

Traveling thru south Spain, from Rota to Granada and decided to spend a few days in Nerja. Very clean city, locals are very friendly, staff is amazing. Weekends they have entertainment, Sunday was Flamenco, no dancer but great guitarist. After staying in Rota (2days), driving to Cadiz, staying in Jerez (2days) driving to Nerja and staying (2days) driving to Granada staying (1day). Nerja was best spit so far on thee trip.

This hotel was spotless, the staff friendly and helpful, breakfast was great (complete with its own gluten free corner!). The hotel was maintained very well. The only downside was that the doors to the balcony was quite heavy, so you could hear every time the next door room closed theirs

Super location, very clean. Within walking distance of pubs/restaurants and also the bus stop to get to malaga or surrounding areas. Breakfast was also very good, good amount of options. Couldn't fault this hotel. Very happy.

This really was a fantastic hotel, considering how reasonably priced it was. Rooms and hotel itself was spotless. Perfect central location. Would love to return again and would throughly recommend.

I had a wonderful stay in the villa hotel and would highly recommend anyone wanting to go to nerja to stay in this hotel.. the food was excellent..music at pool wonderful and the room and beds fantastic

The hotel is lovely, staff is super friendly, especially Monique. Unfortunately there are not enough sun loungers, so you have to be by the pool at 9 or you miss out. They do watch that people don’t reserve sun loungers, but sometimes there are just to many people. Breakfast is really good, lots of different options and even a gluten free “corner”

Great Value for Money Hotel
The hotel is well postioned for buiranna beach even though a steep walk back, but manageable, been recently renovated to a good standard,would definately opt for mountain view with a comfort room (more space) we had our 1st night in a comfort room and 2 more in a standard room both perfect the mountain view is quieter than looking over the pool area and you have the sun in the morning and the view, then you can go down to the pool area for the afternoon and sun is there for the rest of the day Win! Win! situation.Great happy hour with premium drinks,great staff and service,only issue, sunbeds Need more when hotel full.

It is true that our Standard rooms are slightly smaller than our Comfort rooms, but as you point out, everything has it's own merit. With regards to the sunbeds around the pool, unfortunately the available space is limited, but of course there is always the roof terrace where there are more sun loungers, bali-beds and of course our 2nd jaccuzzi...
