Inside York’s city walls are historic streets, great shopping and the gothic towers of York Minster. Outside them is the wild land of Heathcliff, brooding moors and hills perfect for rambling. This northern city is a perfect gateway. Enjoy the buzz of city life and then escape it for a rugged landscape and fresh air.
