a good secret
Arrived after a long drive though France experiencing poor driving conditions- a lady (I think by name of Katherine) checked us in with great humour - she spoke english to us but we had to reply in french. Check-in super and a safe arrival drink poured without delay. I love staying here.

Great Stay
Very comfortable and clean room. Lady on reception was extremely friendly and very helpful. Hotel only a short drive to the ferry terminal too. Will stay again next time in St Malo.

Lovely lady on reception, bar and loads of seats. Room small but ok, bed comfy, shower good. Overall it was good, close to shops and places to eat plus free parking.

ROOM WAS BASIC BUT OK, SCUFF MARKS ON THE WALLS OF THE ROOM HASD BEN PAINTED OVER BUT WITH A DIFFERENT COLOUR GREY SO NOT THE BEST DECOR.

Smelled like a mix of a college dorm and a smokers hut/dive bar. Awful smell of smoke everywhere. When mentioned to the staff the response was simply to say but it’s a nine smoking hotel. Awful experience, in helpful staff, smells like an ashtray!!!

I booked a room with twin beds and a bath, ended up with a double bed and a shower. Travelled with a dog and had to pay 10 euros extra for the dog which I wasn't aware of when I booked. The hotel was very clean and felt very Covid safe. The bed was very comfortable and the staff were helpful and pleasant.

Location is excellent and very close to Saint Malo city centre by car. It is a good balance between cost, car park and being close to Saint Malo. It is also good for be based for day trips like Mont Saint Michel and Dinan. The hotel was very clean. All Covid 19 protections were in place. Breakfast was at the standard of Ibis with everything necessary for the day. Staff was really welcoming. And last, there are many shops at walking distance. So, it is something good for the family before you leave.

Although this hotel needs a little t l c it is very comfortable and in a convenient location for the cross channel ferry. The adjoining Buffalo Grill is a bonus.

Never fails to please.
This Ibis is so convenient. Easy access to port and shops and restaurant immediately behind the hotel. All simple but all makes for a successful trip. We had breakfast for the first time here. It is plentiful for the few euros it costs.

Nothing exceptional. Helpful staff. Comfortable room for the stop-over we needed. Buffalo Grill adjoining for an accessible meal. We have used the overall formula often and like it.

Handy for shopping centre
Good stay, arrived late at 12pm from the ferry, there were a couple of spaces left in the car park. Checknin was a bit slow as about 3 others arrived at the same time. Room clean and comfortable, although a bit small. Nice touch with kettle and coffee in room.

An awful portacabin hotel
The hotel was more like a run down portacabin with tiny rooms and miserable ladies on reception during the day. The bed was very uncomfortable and if it hadn't been for going around the very beautiful old town of Saint Malo, it would have ruined the end of my holiday

Wow, fab views!
If you want to stay in a picturesque, traditional hamlet in Spain this is it. Beautiful landscape and an amazing building. Food was pleasant and the couple who run it are very welcoming. En-suite more of a wet room, taking a shower leaves the loo a bit wet, but overall, we loved it.

Simple but very comfortable. We have stayed often and enjoy doing so. This time they were managing the impact of the front door works very well.
