This was the worst experience. After driving all day to be with my son on family day at Basic Training, all my wife and I wanted to do was rest. When we got to the Roadway, it there were homeless men wondering down the street. The parking lot was not well illuminated. There were new construction material for all over. The hotel was under major re-model / construction. While I understand the process. The check-in counter didn't have power. The clerk had to use her laptop to process the check in. Once I had the room, as I approached the room, there was a strange odor in the hallway. Once we the towel bar in the shower was about broken off the wall. The hair dryer power cord was cut. The door security latch was broken off. The table / office desk was broken and had screw exposed. The sheets had stains. The walls had holes. There were roaches and other insects all over. When I went to the main desk to file a complaint, no one was there. I can only assume they were working on getting the electricity fixed. This was a horrible experience. We went to bring back some food, we didn't feel that the hotel was safe, we went 3 minutes down the road, where it was cleaner, well lit, and safter.

RUNNNNNNN. Pros: The rooms have four walls and a ceiling. The heat/air worked in the rooms we had booked. The fridges worked, but they froze everything. The TVs worked, but the remotes did not. Cons: From the outside, the place looks condemned. Boxes stacked in front of the entrance. Trash everywhere. Inside, it smelled like a bar that had allowed smoking for 40 years. We had two rooms. In one, the toilet wouldn’t flush. After the guy at the front desk “fixed” it, it still wouldn’t. The night desk attendant gave a different room. The new room had a large hole in the wall, the bathtub faucet had a constant stream of water, that wouldn’t shut off. No towels. NO hot water. Our other room also had a leaky tub faucet. The hot water handle was broken off the sink, so we only had cold water. The one and only towel was bloodstained, but appeared to have been washed - though it should not have been put out for use in rooms. We did have hot water in this shower, although it took about 15 minutes for it to warm up. I woke up daily congested and smelling of cigarette smoke. Somehow, there were no bed bugs, but there were cockroaches. The hotel had several residents. For the most part, they were friendly. Several occasions there was VERY loud music in the middle of the night. Yelling up and down the halls. We had to have our keycards reset DAILY. When I asked the front desk about this, he ignored me completely. It’s cheap for a reason. Pay a bit more for peace of mind and cleanliness.

Go to a different motel! Molding takeout food in microwave, other people’s hair in the bed, bugs, nasty walls near toilet and Very very rude staff! For the price, you could go somewhere and be treated with respect.

Wholes int he walls, food 8n a microwave that hadn't been cleaned in some time. Sheets all had stains, and not one here and there. The second room was crawling with bed bugs. Lady at the front acted like it was normal for people to decline rooms. My stay consisted of a whole 30 minutes. And 20 of that was trying to get help from the front desk.

I liked the example picture online but was totally duped. Dislikes: Dingy room, Lamps were missing shades or bulbs or did not work, the bathtub had tears in the bottom and a disgusting mildewy attempt at repair, could not shower, 20 min wait for hot water in the sink, no cups in room, noisy, hallway was an echo chamber, ice machine was filthy, a train roared by at high speed at 2am in the morning, tracks run parallel alongside and are literally less than 40ft from the building,and I found a large cockroach crawling on my bag after it was placed in my vehicle! Please stop doing business with this place, it's super nasty and downright awful.

One tiny light worked out of the whole room, water would comebout of the shower head when the toilet flushed, the fridge wasnt even cold, the dresser was missing a drawer and was broken and more. Extremely disappointed in this hotel.

The rooms look are a far cry from looking anything this clean or well-maintained as in this photo. Stains on the linens, garbage all over the place around the hotel. Hotel hard to find due to poor signage, cockroaches in the room, toilet freely moved side to side as it was not anchored down correctly, smoke alarm appeared to have been disabled as we were surrounded by questionable other guests who's smoke of some sort was filling the hallway, no place to hang your closes as luggage rack was dismantled on the floor, their so called breakfast included was a coffee pot. Heating unit was so load you would have to turn the TV up to full volume to hear over it, bathroom linens were so stiff, they scratched your skin. Would have canceled this visit but there was lack of accommodations elsewhere and they would not refund my money.

I was unable to stay there because they would not check me in although they claimed to have the room I supposedly reserved but they said I had no number associated with my name on any reservation and without a reservation they could not rent me a room even though they had the exact room I needed and had supposedly reserved available. Biggest crock of crap I've ever seen and I demand a full reversal of charges to my credit card from hotels.com! I ended up driving a few miles down the road and staying in the LaQuinta off Garners Ferry Rd in Columbia for $106

I stayed in room 112. This is the worst hotel I have ever stayed in my entire life. Heater not working, bedspread stained, close to a train station. Bathroom sink blocked. I practically stayed up throughout the night to watch my son. I was so afraid something bad might happen. The receptionist couldn’t help me with a mobile heater. No more rooms available. Pls avoid this place. The website pictures are not same with what you get. It’s a scam. I felt defrauded of $118. This property should be closed down immediately

Not good we left and we booked an Air B and B.
The drawers were missing. There was not a microwave. Facets in the bathroom were broken. No continental breakfast, no coffee.

The furniture was broken, no bag for ice bucket, no cups, poorly repaired bathroom. Huge gap from door to floor, could literally slide my hand under it, which means it wasn't very secure. Large holes in the wall where the water pipes went through.

Very dirty. It’s nothing like the pictures. Drug addicts passed out in the parking lot. I dreaded every minute I had to stay here. The refrigerator had rust spots on it. Hall reeked of marijuana.

We checked in and after going into our room we went back out to the car. There were people hanging out ourside drinking and smoking and others just hanging out. I has to manually turn on the tv bc the remote didn't work,took a shower and tried to turn off the bathroom light and it shocked me and wouldnt turn off after that.The dresser had 1 maybe 2 drawers still intact. People yelling in the halls all hours of the night.I wouldnt recommend this place for anyone.
