I had my reservation and checked in. Stay was $142 with $50 deposit. My bank calls right away wanting to know if I want to approve charges from Days inn for $13,996.62 (NO) then bank wanted to put a block on the card. This was the manager trying to run this fraudulent charge. The rest of the staff was great.
I chose a non-smoking room so I would not have to deal with smoking, but the person right beside me stands outside all day and night smoking, and all the smoke went right into my room through the air condition. I asked front desk to come down and he brought air freshener. The last thing you want to do is pick up and move to another room when you’re dead tired so I suffered through it now with a sinus infection today. First thing I rolled over to see this morning was grape jelly on the bed skirt with someone’s biscuit on the floor. I washed the bathtub and shower out to get rid of the hair and showered and got out of there.
Continental breakfast is a waffle or some cereal with a gallon of milk sitting out on the counter, for Lord knows how long. No fruits, yogurt or muffin's. They have a machine with concentrated orange juice that has the door taped up to keep it shut and the push button to dispense the juice has got a short in it so you must punch it a 100 times to get a 1/2 cup of juice. The cups are as big as mouthwash cups from a bathroom. Note: Bring your own cup! The coffee cups were so tiny I just went across the street to the waffle House to get coffee.
